Plant therapy’s germ fighter blend essential oil smells so amazing in your diffuser. It will help fight germs in the air. I like to diffuse this in my diffuser. It does make your whole room smell like lemon, eucalyptus, and the other blends it is made of is listed on the bottle as I have taken a picture for this review. I love that it can help with boosting immunity against seasonal threats like allergies or viruses etc. I first ordered the 10ML at first because I am a new customer of plant therapy and let me tell you that this essential oils are very good quality high quality for a much affordable price. I had to get the 30 ML and the 30 ML just came today. Awesome stuff! Will get more plant therapy oils in the future.. Disclosure: I was not in any way offered any discount for my review but I would love for other future customers to know that this one is amazing brand of essential oils! Very affordable price. I also seen some of plant therapy’s oils being sold at Walmart.com. I well definitely shop for more oils from both amazon and Walmart.com in the future! I hope my review helps bring future customers. Love plant therapy so far, I started with the peppermint oil and ended up with this oil and a Christmas oil blend.

I purchased this at full retail price a few years ago. At that time I was introduced to 'thieves' type blends a little before that. While this has the same ingredients: lemon, clove, eucalyptus, cinnamon, and rosemary ... the smell is not close to some of the major brand similiar blends such as YL. Since purchasing the YL brand and this brand, my favorite less expensive thieves blend is Bandit Synergy Blend Essential Oil 10 ml. - 100% Pure Therapeutic Grade (Comparable to Young Living's Thieves & DoTerra's ON GUARD blend) . When I use that blend my husband is always so pleased with the scent. So why did I not drop this to 3 stars? Because dropped on paper the oil behaves true and correct. It spreads evenly and dries clear. It does not look like it has been diluted with a carrier oil. Thus, even with just the combo of essential oils, it would prove effective against sickness and such ... the ratio, though, is just slightly off from what *I* like. Does that make sense? I have been using essential oils since before they were more mainstream. Probably a couple decades now. I use them therapeutically and not just because they "smell good". Essential oils are not fragrance oils. I have major brand name essential oils in my collection and off brands. I have purchased and reviewed some downright vile essential oils here on Amazon and am not afraid to leave a poor review. I appreciate a good quality essential oil for a good value, but I am not going to use something I cannot trust. Overall, this is a trusted oil and brand and though I did not purchased this again, I could recommend it to someone else.

I just received the Germ Fighter the other day and right away I used it in our diffuser at home. I bought it based on all of the great reviews I saw on here. I have not tried any other 'Thieves Oil' to compare it too (they cost way too much to even try), so I cannot help with that. I do know that my son, who has horrible allergies, actually LOVED the smell of it - and normally he hates any types of fragrances - so I knew this was a keeper for us because of that alone. I absolutely love the smell as well - it's more of a cinnamon smell , which I really like (it reminds me of the original flavor of Dentyne Gum-my favorite). I am going to keep using this at night in our diffuser to see how it works in the long run since my son - who is 6 yrs old - seems to pick up all of the germs and sickness that he comes across at school. When or if he gets sick again with allergies (allergy season is coming) or something from school, I will try it with a carrier oil on his feet and I will update my review based on that as well. The past few nights of diffusing it, it seems that my son and I both are sleeping much deeper and I feel much better when I wake up and I LOVE that!!! I used it on myself last night for an infection that was starting around my wisdom tooth area, it was swollen all the way down my glands on the side of my throat. I diluted it with coconut oil and swished it around that area, then rinsed. I then put some on a q-tip and swabbed over that area inside my mouth and left it there. I used a cotton ball covered in the dilution and rubbed it all over the outside of my jaw and swollen neck. When I woke up this morning, the pain and swelling is almost gone, which is great!! I will repeat the process today and again tonight as well, which I think will clear it up completely. Overall, I am very pleased with my first bottle of Essential Oils from Plant Therapy and I will be ordering more products soon.**UPDATE 3/11/15: I have since learned by contacting Plant Therapy that you should NOT USE this product on children UNDER 10 YRS OLD (by diffusing or diluted with a carrier oil). This upset me a bit because I had no idea until I contacted the company and I actually bought it to help my 6 yr old son more than anything. There is no information or warnings about that on the product or on the websites, which I believe there should be one if this is the case.**
