Nothing fancy, but works for me!
Received this in 2 days (on a Sunday even!) thanks to Amazon Prime. I was prepared to have to send it back due to so many conflicting reviews. I'm happy to report this will work just fine for me. I wanted it to go in the bathroom so I could listen to my iPod while getting ready for work. It's small and fits on the shelf with no problems. The sound is decent enough. The only problem I see so far is that you CANNOT listen to the iPod and charge it at the same time. In order to listen to the iPod, you have to connect the attached cable to the headphone jack on the iPod, and since it's at the same end as the charging jack, it won't work. Not a big issue for me because I have 2 other units in the house that will. Another concern was that there isn't a dimmer for the clock, but it doesn't seem as bright as some other clocks, so I don't think it will be a problem.I was looking for a basic unit with no need for bells and whistles, and this fits the bill just fine. For $17.00, I'd say I got a great deal!

Four months before it quit working.
Bought this as a Christmas gift for my daughter. She started using it after Christmas, four months later it just stopped playing the radio or the ipod. It appears that the speakers just quit. I know it's not a super expensive piece of equipment, but four months of basic use is kind of ridiculous. Other than total speaker failure, it's a fine clock.

DO NOT BUY THIS CLOCK IF YOU WANT TO KNOW THE ACTUAL TIME!
I ordered this alarm clock for my daughter so that she can listen to the radio or charge her iPod, etc. and be able to have a clock in her room. I just received it, literally 10 mins ago. I plugged it in to set it up and get the time set and there is not even an option or a way to set the clock past 9:00!!! It's 12:00 (noon) here, and when I was trying to set the time it was 11:53 and all the clock did was run from 0 to 9. There is no military time, there is no 10:00, no 11:00 and no 12:00! not AM or PM. What kind of clock doesn't allow you to set it for what time it really is?! I even tried setting it for 9:59 to see what it would go to, and it just went to 0:00. Then I set it for 0:59 to see if it would go to 11:00, NOPE. It went straight to 1:00. DO NOT BUY THIS ALARM CLOCK IF YOU WANT IT TO ACTUALLY TELL YOU THE REAL TIME. It's already packaged up to be sent back for a refund. So frustrating!

It's pretty good.
Bought this as a birthday gift for teenage granddaughter. It has good sound. The alarm works. Looks good. Doesn't take up a lot of space. We will see how long it lasts before the alarm or something dies on it.

Does its job for a good price
I wanted a clock radio in my bathroom for showers and getting ready in the morning. However, you know how radio stations are with their commercials, especially between7am and 9 am. So, I decided I could use my MP3 thus, I wanted a clock, a radio (for news) and music (via MP3). This works very well at reception, has 20 stations you can preset (we don't have THAT many good ones here in Colorado Springs), decent volume (to overcome shower noise), can charge your MP3 (but I do not believe it can charge and play at same time-still working on that one), has 2 alarms you can set to different times, and is nice and small so it can fit onto a small vanity/sink/cabinet (which I really like). Volumes and tuning are buttons (rather than dials) which I am not as used to but think are fine. Overall, for the price it is very good. You can by better sound at a much higher price if you wish. This also was one of the only ones under $100 that i could find for my Sansa MMP3; most are made for ipods

Nice unit for not too much money!
I bought this for my wife to use at work on her limited desk area. It is a very nice, small & compact, and easy to read unit. I set it up with her iPod with ease, and it worked great! Now with the tiny little speakers, it is assumed that you are NOT looking for higher volume levels, and as such, it works great. It is low in cost, does what it is designed to do, and is very easy to use. If this were a lot more money, then it would be only a 4 star item, but this is well worth the 5 stars considering what it costs! Enjoy.

An alarm is only as good as it is dependable.
As an alarm clock this product is unreliable because it does not have a battery back up. You can not put your ipod in the charge with anything but the slimmest of cases. There are 20 preset stations available but you have to go through the presets in sequential order.

Love it
Cheep alternative to the Apple dock. Bought for Christmas for my daughters iPod touch she absolutely loves it uses the alarm clock everyday. It charges her iPod and listens to her music from the iPod also has FM radio as an option. We did however end up going to RadioShack and spending $35 on an adapter to so the iPod would connect to the docking device. Still cheaper than the Apple product and works great!
