American Apparel Women's Cotton Spandex Jersey High-Waist Leggings

I think that some reviewers have suggested that these leggings are not like the American Apparel leggings that they have bought in the past, so they're different from what AA sold in their stores. I don't agree: I've actually had over a dozen (yes, really) American Apparel leggings over the years, and the fact is that they've ALWAYS been very variable, even when they were exactly the same style. That being said, I've had several of these exact leggings from them, although I've had many others that were different, so if you are looking for an exact replacement for what you've had before, that's just a matter of chance I'm afraid. What I can say is that they are good quality, a great fit, high waist, neither particularly thin or thick. Personally, AA leggings are my favourite, and I can recommend them.

These are the comfiest leggings I have ever owned. Perfectly placed high waisted leggings , just enough stretch & super soft!! I purchased the grey ones they are not see-through whatsoever!! I’m 5’4”, 135lbs & I ordered a large just in case they were to shrink in the dryer there’s a little bit of room at the top in the waist area but nonetheless they are perfect!

I bought these leggings a few years ago directly from American Apparel while I was living in the US and was thrilled to find them on Amazon now that I’m back in Canada! I use a wheelchair and often find the waistband on pants to be a little too low - things fit differently when you’re sitting all the time! When I’m wearing these I don’t have to worry about accidentally flashing someone when I lean forward. They’re comfortable and last for a decent amount of time (the ones I had previously are going on 3 years of frequent wear). They’re the perfect leggings for a wheelchair user in my opinion!

This fits exactly the way that I want it to. I am 5’2, 171 lbs. Measurements are 39-34-47. Based on reviews and the size chart I ordered a large and it fits perfectly. A lot of people were complaining that the panel goes very high up but as stated in the description these are high waisted so they will fit you incredibly high waisted. For me, I was looking for something very similar to maternity pants to use for postpartum and to just keep everything in place. Pros: • super comfortable • breathable cotton fabric • high waisted panel (for those who like that sort of thing) Cons: • for my height there is about 4 inches of extra fabric on the ankles. (Just folded it in but you can tailor them or have the tailored to fit better.) Will update review as needed.
