100-percent natural oral supplement for dogs and cats;No more wrestling with toothbrushes;Generally sees results over a 2 to 8 week period;Made from a specific strain of seaweed harvested from above scandinavia;Promotes healthy teeth, gums and fresh breath Review: Bottle packaging looks different from posted. Never expect the expiry in Dec23. Bought 2 bottle but might not be able to finish in time. Bought from retail shop and the expiry is longer 11/2years at least. Review: My dogs were previously on VOHC verified dental chews, so they didn't have much going on for plaque build up. However my six year old has lost any stank to her breath and their teeth are whiter so I'm no longer sweating them having gotten bored of the chews. My cats however range from 5 years to 13 years old, and all had varying degrees of plaque and tartar build up. My brachycephalic cat needed a dental and had horrific breath, and while I was saving up for the dental work for the three of them I tried a tub of this. Vet confirmed that none of them require a dental anymore, and two only have very minor build up on their rear most molar (that all have flakes of it missing where it comes away with chews), while gums are super healthy. My 13 year old who is comfortable with me brushing and also likes to chew has immaculate teeth. Notes from having worked years in pet stores and getting feedback: It doesn't work for every pet. Don't know why. Maybe something about genetic saliva acidity, who knows, but for some pets it just appears to do nothing. It takes time for it to have an effect, so be patient, but don't count on it to be a miracle cure for evey pet. It is a very innocuous amount and it's very rare for pets to have a reaction, but for historically sensitive pets it is not a bad idea to ease your way into the full dose to avoid upset. It doesn't matter if you sprinkle it on top or mix it into something to get your pet to eat it, this product works through absorption into the bloodstream not by contact with the teeth. The scoop inside is exceptionally tiny, maybe a 16th of a gram. I am using 7 full scoops a day for 5 pets and the medium (180gram) container lasts me 6 months. This often weakens the bond of tartar to the teeth, but you'll need the mechanical action of brushing or chewing to scrape much of it away. The VOHC label this product bears means that it has been independently tested and proven to be effective and safe. If your dental products do not have this label, then their claims are merely that.

Update Just had another great check up. Teeth are doing great in fact a few teeth vet was watching for extraction are looking very good now. Only 1 tooth at the back is still being watched. Very happy with this product will watch for it to come back instock. Have been Using it exclusively in her wet food for last few months and she doesn't notice anything different. Since its very small similar to a powder it's easy to mix it into wet food. Dry food she eats most of it but some is left behind on bowl. Very easy to use just sprinkle on wet or dry with included spoon. We use one scoop once a day. Been using this product for over a year. Last checkup was good no visible signs of tarter build up. Healthy gums. Started after surgery for gum disease and tooth extractions in young cat. Can use with dry food as well... Used smaller size jar previously to test product but this size jar is easier to use and more cost efficient...
