Warm and awesome quality
From the moment you first touch these gloves you know you are in for a treat! The leather is really soft and supple. There is a bit of weight to them that tells you they are built for warmth and durability. The inner lining is really soft and comfy. I cannot speak much to the breathability of these, since my hands seldom get hot enough to sweat. I am a skinny, tall guy whose hands and feet are always cold. These gloves kept me warm skiing at Whistler, Grand Targhee, and Jackson Hole, not to mention shoveling my driveway in Wisconsin. I only pull them out on the coldest days because I know they will perform.I like the extras built in to these. These is a little pocket on the back that can carry an ID, cash, credit card, and/or your ski pass. There are wrist straps with a tether that keeps them connected to me when I need to briefly remove the gloves. The strap on the back of the glove allows me to snug them up as needed, which I use all the time, and a cord for pulling the wrist cuff closed, which I do not use much because it would hinder my jacket sleeve from getting/staying down in there. The only thing I would change is to make the wrist cuff a little longer. It does the job, but some of my jackets do not close as well at the wrist and could benefit from more overlap/coverage.I tend to be sized between a Large and XL, depending on a glove's fit. I bought these in an XL to be sure there were not tight, as that would just hamper my circulation. They fit great: not loose but still roomy.Ultimately, I finally broke down and paid the obnoxious price for these beauties because I got tired of suffering from frozen hands. I seldom treat myself but, in this case, it was worth it!

Best gloves I’ve owned!
I had a pair of these about 15 years ago and lost them in a move. I was beyond excited when I found them on Amazon. The size, style, fit, and comfort of these is phenomenal. Some of the nicest leather you’ll touch. You know they’re money when you see them. They’re super warm and have a pocket for a hand warmer, keys, or credit card. You may consider waterproofing them if you’re messing around in slush, but are plenty water proof for normal skiing or snowmobiling Get yourself a pair!

Perfect ski gloves that are warm and will last
Purchased these as my old ones had some tears after 18 years of skiing. They lasted a long time which is why I decided to buy the same ones again. They are all leather and stay warm and dry for skiing. They are not really water proof so I would not wear them in the rain but snow is no issue. The zippers are nice for ski passes. They are true to size and I would buy that size, not size up.

Comfortable and toasty
Bought them for 23-24 winter skiing. Kept fingers warm. Fit is true, perfect thickness and great move ability. Well made. Buy them when they go on a good sale….

Very well made but not extremely warm
Like all Swany products I've seen this is very well made. But for me at least it is not as warm as claimed, especially in the fingers. My fiogfgers were getting cold below 20*F.Also I think the little zippers are overdesign. I think they are for lip balm? Not sure. The wrist rings (to keep the gloves from falling to the ground when off) are really well done.

Top of the line Gloves
I was shopping for best gloves available. I tried Hestra, Black Diamond and couple others. These leather Swanys are the best I found. Warm, well built. Are they three times better than other gloves on market for a third of the price? Probably not. Are they the best at any price? For me, definitely yes. As to size, I am a spot on size10, which Hestra equates to a Large. I got XL in these Swanys and perfect for me, they fit comfortably & definitely not too big and provide easy smooth range of motion; and if I ever feel I need extra warmth (which so far I don't foresee) they provide room to comfortably fit liners.
