I like having a foldable fan in my purse for those moments when I need a little cooling off. The fan useful; the bamboo frame is sturdy, yet lightweight; and the design is feminine & colorful. The sleeve is handy, too, to protect it while it's in my purse with everything else. I'm very pleased with this purchase.UPDATE: Even a year later, I'm still enjoying my fan!

I have had my fan for over a year. I keep it in my purse in the cover with no special precautions and it hasn't broken! I love my fan! It's the right size, right color, right everything.3/2025 - Update - I'm still using this fan and it's still in my purse. It's getting a little worn on the edges, but not enough to be a problem. Well worth the money. Still love it!

This fan was the perfect gift for my sister. It gives a nice breeze and looks lovely with her lavender parasol. The satin sleeve means she doesn't have to worry about it getting marked up in her purse. It does not snap open (yet) like a Spanish fan but opens and closes smoothly if you do it manually. I had a fan for about a decade that snapped open easily from the beginning, but over years of use it became a bit loose and I worried it would come apart. This fan may snap open after a few summers of use: we'll see. I wish it came in an aqua or turquoise color — I'd buy one for myself! ;-)

The fan is lovely, well made, comfortable to hold and use, folds perfectly, and is finished beautifully. I am absolutely thrilled with it and plan to buy more than the two I already have. The silken cloth sleeve protects it while in my purse. I could not be happier.I am a woman of a certain age and sometimes need rapid cooling and some of my medications make me perspire more easily. These two factors together make me uncomfortable in the winter, I was dreading the summer. With my fan, I feel more prepared.

I love this handheld fan. It's so pretty and so well made. I bought one for myself but this would also make a great gift. It comes in a real pretty soft case to keep in your purse. With the Arizona heat upon us I know I will be getting much use out of it.

like the aesthetic quality. one plastic tine broke upon trying to open the fan to full span. very stiff. good air fan cooling effect because of the stiffness, I believe.smaller than I imagined, perhaps because It seems that the fan can open open fuller, but unable to do so...so stiff

I have ordered many many handheld paper fans trying to find just the right one -- it must be durable, elegantly designed, quality fabric, and just the right size (not too small that it doesn't give off enough air too cool yet not too big that it won't easily fit in my handbag). This is all of those things and more -- because it comes with a beautiful little case. In a word... it's perfect!
