I had originally gotten two of these irons in a different size as gifts from korea. I had them for a year trying to find a proper transformer that wouldnt smell, as an adapter simply wouldnt work. Eventually I decided to just buy one off amazon and I LOVE It! The it's made in Korea and is one of the top used curling irons there, but the voltage can be used in USA outlets with no problem. As a hairstylist I have used many different brands of curling irons. This one is ceramic plated so its gentler on your hair than a hot tools iron. I used this for large glamour waves and beachy waves. The temp goes up to 400F but it will be in c°. If you have thick straight (asian etc) hair then you can put the heat all the way up (200) but I typically set mine to 180-190. The curls will fall softly throughout the day and the next day my hair will look like I've gotten a blowout. If the ends of your hair are fine it will be hard for the iron to hold as it's very soft. I curl the ends in first all over then go back and curl up the mid shafts and it turns out very pretty. If your hair is shoulder length or above and you want smaller curls I would get the smaller size that's purple. I will eventually be buying this in all the sizes and maybe even backups to use in the salon. It's not cheap, but good hair isnt cheap and cheap hair isnt good :)

Tried to find a good beginner-friendly curler that gives natural curls and I think I found the one. For anyone deciding to buy this curler, I think it is a good choice. It is easy to use (this is coming from someone who is not good at following even easy hairstyling videos and prefers having curl perms every once in a while as I cannot style my flat hair) and because they have different sizes to choose from, it makes it versatile for customers to choose the type of curl they want. I chose 1.4 inches as I don't like super-defined curls or very loose curls, this 1.4-inch one was perfect for anyone with that type of preference. Plus, if you like to have an aesthetic hair curler this ivory color one is super classic and pretty to have. A note I want to give is that if you live in the US and want to purchase this, please don't be worried that the volts won't work, apparently even though it is a Korean brand the product does come with a plug that is used in the US. That was my main concern when deciding to purchase it or not, as it was never mentioned in the description box.

Very nice use and after curling it, you can feel the brightness that it made your hair have. Works really well and I personally don’t like a lot of curls so I can finish my whole hare for just 5 minutes. Very handle and temperature I usually just around 160 so it doesn’t burn my hair. Overall everything’s great but just be careful burning yourself for the first few times.

It's easy to use and gives your hair a nice look. I'm also happy with the color and design.

This product has a nice color and works well. However there is no protection when you are holding the handle or clamp from the hot iron. I've touched the hot iron every time I use it on accident. The handle is thin and smooth and it's easy for my hand to ride up and touch the iron. The clamp is small and plastic and when you are moving your hand to curl your hair, it's easy to touch the metal part which is very hot. Not sure why it's designed this way, you are almost guaranteed to get burned.

I love this hair curler, I can really get the large bouncy waves that a lot of Korean actresses have. Very elegant looking and easy to use. Colors are cute too! Only problem is the stand is not very firm, so when you set the iron down, the hot metal falls directly against the silicon stand and touches it. It hasn't melted so far, but I would be careful

I have been wanting this curler for a while and finally got it. The first time I used it, the top of the handle was a bit hot but I was very satisfied with the curls so I have no complaints. The curls didn't last long however, about half a day, but I was still in love with the curler because its so pretty and I heard that its less damaging to your hair. About 2 weeks later, I tried to use this curler again for a ceremony and set the temperature higher (160C), hoping that the curls can last me through the day. Half way through, there was a sudden spark and my circuit tripped! I was terrified and put the curler down immediately as I check for injuries. Thank got I didn't get hurt but there were some smoke coming out of the handle. I am requesting a return now and would not purchase again. I'm so disappointed because I really liked this curler brand but is now terrified. It's totally not worth my hopes and for the price.

Heats up fast and looks good, but I have a hard time keeping my hair in place. Not terrible, but not as easy to use as I hoped.

Despite the late delivery, I was still so excited when I got the product. However I noticed that the box (and what I ordered) was supposed to be 40mm… yet inside the box I received the 36mm. The clamp also makes a very loud squeeking noise when it’s being opened. I was super disappointed.
