I was pleasantly surprised with this product. I am not a fan of Abreva. I usually use Acyclovir for my cold sores. However, this is a medical prescription and I didnt want to see my doctor. I gave the Cicloferon a try because of the reviews. The tube is pretty small compared to the packaging. The consistency of the product is similar to aloe Vera gel. All you need is a small droplet during application [little goes a long way]. I wish I would of bought it RIGHT when I felt the coldsore tingle coming on. By day 3 of application, boils have drained and scab had formed over. This medicine leaves a small layer of film that helps the scabs peel off on their own. Consistency is key. Make sure to follow the directions. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE. I know cold sores suck!

I purchased this and it really helped with the severity and the pain. Within 3 days, I felt like it was almost gone. It kept the swelling down and you couldn’t even tell that I had the darn thing. The overall healing time still took about 10 days, but the pain, severity and the awful look was cut by about 80%,,,,a huge thumbs up for me
