I’m 69 and early this year, (2025) I decided to stop having my hair dyed blonde every 4 wks. I’m naturally dirty blonde but no longer, my gray is turning white and I’m going with it. However the shampoo and conditioner was leaving my hair frizzy and dried out. I used this combo once and can’t believe how my hair is now like it was when I was younger. Healthy and very shiny. I’m very happy with these products and as long as it keeps making my hair so shiny and soft and keeps my hair brass free, I’m a satisfied customer. Value is great as well.

I love this stuff so much, I had to buy the BIG bottle, which should last me at least six months if not longer. If you have silver hair or graying, with dark brown or black, get this. You won't regret it. I have 50-something salt n' pepper hair that sans any coloring is about 60% silver, with the other 40% a mix of dark brown to almost black. We have well water with a filter on the showerhead, and yet, my hair gets dull looking with tinges of brown being more prominent and the silver losing its sparkle. I have used many purple shampoos and the problem I run into is that most are very drying, which is something that my thick, curly hair doesn't need. This product is not drying at all, and within one wash - leaving it on my hair for 2-5 minutes after suddsing - makes a noticeable improvement. Dark strands are darker, and white-gray strands have whitened. I use this product for multiple days until I've achieved the look I want, and then use it twice a week thereafter, always using a quality conditioner after the shampoo - not a purple conditioner, although you certainly could do so. I do use the leave-in Matrix So Silver spray conditioner occasionally too. The shampoo is somewhat runny, so it takes very little to get a good lather. I focus on the mid-shaft to ends of my hair and run it all through right before rinsing. My hair is left feeling soft and moisturized after using it. I like the scent and have had no scalp or skin irritation using it. (Avoid contact with your skin for long periods of time, as it will stain your skin and/or scalp if prolonged exposure occurs. Overall, it's one of the best options for blonde and silver-haired folks. Definitely recommend giving it a try!

I feel like I owe a review as I spent hours reading them all over to find something to tone 🤣. Moved 3 hrs away from my hair salon. Decided to do my own full highlights. Came out super brassy. Head was like a penny at first. Started using Matrix Brass Off Toned Spray. Needed more so I gave this a shot. I wet my hair, put a friendly amount of shampoo, set a 20 minute timer, then rinse off. It turned my orange hair back to blonde!! The only thing, my roots will not take the product. Any recommendations? 😩 Other than the top of my head still copper, this worked amazingly in 3 uses with 1 day in between. My hair is not dried out. There is no staining. The product comes right off with water. No need for scrubbing. There’s no crazy scent or anything. It does a great job!!! Just not on my roots lol. It even brought out my 8 month old highlights from UNDERNEATH! Super dark and boom, blonde streaks started showing!

This is the only purple shampoo I will use for my light blonde hair. It removes brassiness and yellow, while it deeply cleans and conditions hair. It's the only purple shampoo that doesn't leave violet cast on the hair. It brightens any blonde or grey hair.

Used this shampoo and the results are fine. Though it seems to cause it itchiness. Shipped without securing lid so some product leaked into contents of box!!

I love this shampoo. My hair is white and we have well water. This shampoo keeps my hair white and prevents yellowing for the most part. Every few months I use their hair mask, too.

The shampoo came together with other items, among which a baby towel. As there was no package for the shampoo, it leaked in the box staining the towel as well. Very dissapointed as the towel has purple stains, despite being wrapped in a bag...
