Eastman 5 Ft Dishwasher Installation Kit, 3/8 in Compression x 3/4 in FHT Elbow, Braided Stainless Steel Supply Line, 41042

This was exactly as advertised. My dishwasher is not directly next to my sink - there is a small cabinet between them. The supply line that came with the dishwasher was too short. With this length, I was able run it along the back of the cabinet, out of the way, so that I could still use the space on the shelf in the cabinet. It was a great price for the great quality. It connected easily with no leaks and was perfect for my particular cabinet configuration.

This line is way better than the flimsy ones you get at the big box stores. The built-in elbow means one less connection to come loose or leak, and the braided stainless feels solid and well-made. Installation was quick and straightforward, and it hasn’t leaked a drop. Definitely worth a couple extra bucks for the peace of mind.

Fits, I ordered the 6 foot version. The only slightly annoying thing is the hose wants to curl up rather than staying straight. So when working in tight quarters under the dishwasher, the hose didn't want to face up towards the inlet solenoid, but preferred to face down. A bit of a battle, but finally got it connected. The stainless steel fitting doesn't leak like the brass elbow style I had before. I think the old brass fitting had a pinhole leak.

Works as intended

This hose has a 90° bend rather than an additional threaded fitting. One less place for a leak to occur. Recommend using a Killarney Metals dishwasher pan underneath all dishwashers as well.

Worked and fit perfectly

Compré la manguera para instalar mi lavavajillas Maytag. Queda perfecto en la conexión de 3/4, pero en el otro extremo (donde se conecta con la llave de paso del agua) no quedó, porque la manguera viene con conexión a 3/8, y el estándar en México es de 1/2. Pero, solo compré un reductor en Home Depot (como de 40 pesos), y funcionó perfecto. Es de muy buena calidad, tiene sus empaques en ambos conectores y se siente resistente. Solo considerar lo del conector adicional que hay que comprar.
