It is made from surgical stainless steel as far as I can tell. It is made for jewelry with male threads. This makes insertion really easy. I bought the set for male threads and female threads. I use a selection of different sizes for different gauges for use on different parts of the body. 😈

This was exactly what I needed. I have a tragus piercing and I can never get the barbell in. This made it so much easier!

This is great for keeping newly pierced areas open while you change out the hardware. And it works wonders for areas that are closed up.

I used this taper to stretch my Prince Albert 12 gauge piercing to 10 gauge. I always thought it was a 10 gauge to begin with, but I was sad to find out that when I ordered a captive bead ring to replace my circular barbell, my current piercing was not a 10 gauge but probably 12 gauge, and then I ordered this taper to switch out my ring.

It bent a bit when using it and the hollow end stabbed a hole in my thumb, but it did the trick for getting a ring back in an old piercing that was partially closed up.

I had my ears pierced for over 10 years, but stopped wearing earrings for quite some time and now my holes were too tight to fit any earrings through. I ordered the 22g which is much thinner than a standard size 20g earring post. Lubed up the taper and my ear with vaseline, and with my husbands help i was able to find the hole and completely push the taper through. Very pleased that the product worked after so many painful tries of trying to shove an earring through and it just wasn’t working. Can’t recommend enough if you are experiencing something similar!
