This works and works well. I feel it works better than my original Vizio remote ever did. The buttons do make a click noise as you press them. My original remote did not make this noise. The noise is similar to the clicking and clacking of some keyboards. I like that it has a noise click. The remote worked immediately -- no pairing was needed. It looks identical to the original remote but it does seem a bit lighter in weight. I also purchase a silicone sleeve from the remote from another vendor. It works! I’ve had my 42inch for about 10yrs now and the remote broke. I tried the universal remote from GE and it did not work well. Ever so often had to input a code because it disconnected from the TV. This one worked right out the box (after battery installation). No special instructions or settings. It just works. Looks like the original remote. No complaints. Love it.

I won't lie, it feels fake. Like they chose the cheapest plastic casing for the hardware. But I buy for functionality and it works well. Did not have to do much to set it up, functions as expected, it has not broken yet dispite it's casing feeling low quality.
