Item exactly as described, works great. If your 36 volt M1 power supply ever stops working (mine overheated after about 8 years), this has been an excellent replacement. I was using buckets to scoop water from my sump and pouring it in my display tank for circulation, while I checked for any random power supplies I had laying around. Finally checked the MP40 power heads and they had a 24 volt power supply with the same connector. I hooked the 24 volt power supply up to the M1 controller and it worked well enough for me to go to sleep and not have to circulate water manually until the proper power supply replacement arrived. I wanted to share this, because if you have an M1, chances are good you might have an MP40, and in a pinch, the M1 is more vital than the MP40, so I was relieved that swapping their power supplies worked. (Just don't ever hook up a higher voltage power supply to a lower voltage device.).
