sixthreezero Urban Lady Beach Cruiser Bike, Women's 3 Speed Hybrid Bicycle

I got this for my granddaughter (age 15) for a trip to the beach. I have bought two other beach bikes from these folks over the years and they are all excellent. I got her a single speed cruiser - they are very light, easy to assemble, and very forgiving of road surfaces. Highest recommendation. Note - this is not a big for off roading, or for high speed riding. It is what it is - a great bike for recreation or for city use. Lock it up when not using it - where ever you are, there are people who would "borrow" a nice bike like this without hesitation if it isn't secured.

I am absolutely impressed with this gorgeous bike! Due to a knee injury I was riding my mountain bike like a cruiser. My husband noticed and suggest that I actually buy a Cruiser. GREAT advice! After quite a bit of research the Firmstrong had my vote of confidence due to the great reviews already written about it. They weren't kidding! The quality of the bike is excellent. The paint (mint green) is a gorgeous color. I ordered the fenders and they are a perfect match. The bike arrived in perfect condition and was packed with care. No dings, no problems. Shipping was fast. Husband put it together in an afternoon while I was gone. He didn't realize that I had an email from Beachbikes to help him with the gears. He did have to spend some time adjusting it but said the info offered from the seller would have been enough to speed that process. It shifts easily. It handles like a DREAM! The 7 speeds offer enough variety of gears for me to make it up the hills in our area. The Cruiser style is perfect for those of us that want to ride a bike more like a motorcycle, or sitting in a chair. The guys in my family all ride (expensive) mountain bikes so I wasn't expecting much with a "lower end" priced bike. The Urban Lady exceeded my expectations in quality, style, comfort (even the seat is amazing!) and customer service from beachbikes. I'm looking forward to a continue in weight loss, an increase in health and definitely having fun on my Firmstrong Urban Lady!

LOVE IT! I never write reviews but had to say how much I love my Firmstrong Beach Cruiser! I live in NYC and yup... this bike is solid AND stylish (mine is black w/pink rims), if I hit a bump I just gently bounce lol The roomy seat and wide handle bars make it so comfortable and I prefer the "back peddle" breaking, much more natural for me, just like my 1st childhood bike. Goodbye to my stationary bike, getting out and riding my cruiser makes exercise enjoyable, my neighbor now wants one. If you have questions before ordering "Beachbikes" makes it so easy and personable to decide, I called and the sales rep. answered all my questions AND there are video's on their website to help choose the right size bike for you. If you're looking for a nice cruising bike and want to look stylish, for me NYC stylish, this is YOUR bike, just choose your color! Oh... and the bike comes practically fully assembled, took about 20 minutes to put together, ok maybe 30 :)

Package arrived quickly with all parts included. Assembly of bike from 80 percent was painless. It required only a few tools that were not included--screwdriver and a pair of adjustable wrenches. Quality seems good with clean welding and good paint. Not a light bike, but that is to be expected at price point. Only reason for four stars instead of five is the front wheel was incredibly out of true when it arrived--probably a centimeter laterally, plus significant flat spots. Not sure if it left the factory that way, or it somehow happened in shipment, but it required about an hour of work adjusting with a spoke wrench to get it back to round and straight.

First off, I never write reviews, so that's how much this bike impacted us. My daughter needed a new bike and after lots of searching, we decided that this bike was the winner. The key things that won us over was that it was a coaster brake (pedal backwards to brake) and it had a great seat and was a 3 speed. Of course, the blue color was tops on my daughter's list too. The shock for me was when I received the email from the Beachbikes retailer that my "mint green" bike order was received. After confirming that the wrong color was my mistake (ordered the wrong color) I responded to Beachbike about the error and they immediate replied and said it would not be a problem and I will receive the "baby blue" bike that my daughter wanted so much. True to their word, the blue bike arrived in great condition. It was almost fully assembled with only about 20 minutes of additional assembly and adjustment. My daughter was off in riding and as happy as can be. One of the special things about Beachbikes was the inclusion of a small container of beach sand. This was really cool and speaks to the level of care that goes into the bikes they sell. I receive several emails from the Beachbikes team wanting to make sure that I was completely happy with the bike and offering to answer any additional questions I might have. The truth is that the bike is very well made and hasn't needed anything. But it's nice to know they care and I have someone to reach out to if I need support or have questions. I plan to continue ordering bikes from this company and I highly recommend their products.

Bought the men's Firmstrong Beach Cruiser (3 Speed) through Amazon. Initially all was good, but the men's bike turned out to be defective as well....see my review on that bike. But initially, I was excited about this bike, so I ended up ordering the woman's Firmstrong beach cruiser so we would have a set. I prefer hand brakes so I opted for this 7 speed Beach Cruiser, plus it was cheaper than the 3 speed. It arrives, late, despite it being Prime. But I got it, and spent 4 hours putting this damn thing together. The instructions are horrible. Nonetheless, after getting through it, with the help of the internet and Youtube, we got it together and took out for a test spin. Lo and behold, it's DEFECTIVE. 7 speed, yet gears 5-6 do not work, at all. Tried and tried to make it work and it wouldn't work. Ended up calling Amazon the next morning to ask what my options were. Basically, Amazon doesn't care that I spent 4 hours assembling this thing, they tell me that I have to take it back apart, put into a box, and send back via UPS if I want to get a refund. Huh?! Disassemble it? Figure out how to fit back into the box, and then drag a 50pound box to UPS?????? Absurd. But I had no choice. I even asked if Amazon would simply pay for the repair and I would take it to a bike shop here locally. My intent was never to return it, I wanted to keep it, but if its defective, it's defective. Why is that my problem!!! So disappointing. After speaking to three different people at Amazon, I just went through the hassle of disassembling this bike, luckily I still had the original box since I just received it. So it's not like I was scamming Amazon and used it and wanted to return it. It was truly defective. Amazon is a nightmare to work with when you order this large ticket items. Stick to little things like shoes, clothes, food.... big items like TVs, bikes, no way again from Amazon. And this bike.... total fail. We ended up returning BOTH bikes and ended up buying two new bikes from the local bike shop down the street, for the same price.

It was easy to assemble. The bike comes 80% assembled. So most people shouldn't have a problem. They will need their own tool and grease since it is not provided. The bike was a present for my wife. She said that it is comfortable to ride. This bike is actually built good for the price. My wife didn't need a expensive bike like my bikes but I also didn't want to get her a Walmart bike. After researching Firmstrong was rated in the top 5 for Lady cruiser bikes. My wife like the color scheme and design so Firmstrong was the brand. The bike did have a slightly bent spoke also it was loose. Not the company fault cause the did a great job in packaging the bike. Some were along the line with the delivery company the outside package was damage. Contacted Firmstrong ,sent pictures. Tom in customer service said sorry about the rim. He said that a new rim would be sent. It was sent out that day. I would recommend this bike for anyone looking for a good looking ,sturdy bike to crusie around on.
