Living in Florida, Mosquitoes seem to never die. DEET in repellents these days can run all the way down to only 15% - 25%. I've ordered 40% several times which is better. I do not WEAR it, rather I pray my balcony screens with it and front area where the insects hang out - (food smells?) NOW!!!! 98 %. It's "winter now" but they're still around. I can't even sit out on my lovely balcony with water view. I think by spraying the screen and Balcony they will not be tempted to visit. So much better than Cironella. I'll spray, then stay away from balcony for a day to make sure there is no residual smell. When those 'eagles' come back, I'll be ready for them.

98% DEET? OFF brand is typically maybe 10-20% DEET. This stuff works well. However, as some other reviews state, this is not my favorite 'casual' insect repellent, meaning, if I were going to be outside all day, maybe hiking in the woods, this one is a great option. But, when I spray it, it only takes a moment and I find my legs/arms are all shiny and oily. Thus, I don't like this product if I am only going out for a bit to pull weeds or mow the lawn. But, if you need long-lasting, heavy-duty insect repellent this one is effective.

*And propellant. For when you absolutely, positively want to tell those pesky mosquitoes and other nasty annoying insects it's time to bugger off somewhere else. It's kinda greasy, but DEET is an oil, and this is DEET. Just DEET. Any complaints about it being greasy should quickly be dispelled once the mosquitoes find a target that didn't use this spray.

Worked good on our hikes

This insect repellent works well, but it feels very oily on the skin. The protection is strong, but the texture is uncomfortable and leaves a greasy residue. It does the job, but I wish the formula were lighter.
