I have been purchasing these so called cheap and cheerful style umbrella in the past but in strong winds the umbrella still tends to blow inside out and you can get it back to its original state but the structure is then distorted and the umbrella then has week points and eventually becomes rendered useless. I thought i try a slightly more expensive umbrella like this evolve one and i must admit there is no comparison. This evolve umbrella has a button to press which open the umbrella at a steady pace and once opened it does a sturdier feel to it and the material used in the structure seems more up to the task of handling the winds. In my opinion you do get what you pay for and going by the build of this evolve umbrella i am pleased with the purchased.

Wish I found this product much earlier as I have bought and wasted numerous umbrellas over the past years. When I saw this one it looked very similar to others but priced a few pounds less. I intentionally waited a few weeks before giving a review as I wanted to check how good it is in windy conditions. It does not disappoint. I have used it on the golf course during the last weeks and it coped very well during the strong wind & rain. It has a nice handle that also its well into my umbrella holder on my trolley. Cost and quality are both great. I would highly recommend

Does the job does not blow open when windy on the Golf Course. Still keeps me dry.

I don't play golf, but if I did I would consider this ideal to have with me. As it happened I found it too large for general use and returned it. All I can say is that I found the return procedure extremely efficient and it was collected the very next day.

Used a couple of times now. Never had a good umbrella so thought I'd get one to have. Kept in the car boot and used when needed. Nice big umbrella and easily covers two people

I bought this umbrella mainly for golf, hoping it was a high-quality, wind-proof umbrella, and it has exceeded expectations. Ive played a few rounds this week, and the wind and rain was quite strong. I stayed very dry and its wind-proof quality is excellent. I am delighted with it. Its quite light but strong & sturdy. I would say its well worth the money.

My husband was pleased with this and has used it on several wet and windy days. Just beware that the release button does make it go up quite swiftly so meet your face out the way and hold on tightly! To the handle.

Product is a nice size but top section collapsed and now too unstable to use so will going into the bin
