Pretty strong. Be careful when screwing them to things, they are quite fragile. So use a hand screwdriver for the last few turns or you risk splitting them. Overall a good magnate.

Well the advertised applications as fridge magnets and for sticking to (magnetic) whiteboards etc., doesn't seem like a great idea after testing them. I stuck one onto my whiteboard and I defy anyone to easily remove it with just your fingers lol! It slides fairly easily but to lift it away I try to get a fingernail under the edge without success. I then prodded it with a metal object which stuck to it and, combined with finger pressure, managed to get it off. Stupidly I placed it on the desk and forgot about it, picked the stack of others up and accidentally moved it near.. Result: loose magnet flies across desk and smashes into stack with a shower of sparks. One shattered magnet and another chipped. No, these are not trivial things for sticking to fridges but are fine for holding sturdy doors closed or embedding in wood, or hanging tools and steel cased doodads etc., but they are a hazard otherwise. For myself, I put a drop of superglue on one side then stick them to a my magnetic whiteboard - that way they don't come away with whatever it is I want to hold in place, or risk two crashing together again.

These are brilliant Non magnetic on the back with a powerful magnet to the front. Centre is drilled and countersunk, ideal for screwing in place. Comes with screws and circular plate that's the same diameter as the magnet. So plate could be fitted to something non magnetic but then work with the magnet when brought together. I bought these so I could attach some magnets to my tool wall by the side of the relevant tool that uses metal blades. Reciprocating saw Jigsaw To name but 2 So now when I remove the blade and hang my tools up on the tool wall I can put the blade on the magnet right by the side of the tool. No fuss and totally secure. So next time I go to the tool... the blade is right there.... no searching as it's right there. Brilliant idea and very functional. Get some and you'll be glad you did. Many other uses for these I'm sure... Just be aware these are fairly strong magnets and for some they might not be a good idea.... Please consider what you need them for and who will be around them... Instructions contain relevant safety warnings for things such as pacemakers etc. So be sensible.... better safe than sorry.

6000 x 5 Star reviews? Not really . These are generally acceptable magnets which maybe suitable for many uses . But the magnets supplied to me DO NOT have the weight capacity which is claimed on the listing.

I used these magnets as a gate latch. Initially I put 3 side by side, but it was too strong for some people to open the gate. I ended up removing 2 and needed only one. The wind cannot open the gate, and a bump doesn't either. The gate needs a 10 to 20 pound push to disengage the magnet. I'm really glad I went with these magnets.

Ich habe diese 12 Stück Magnete mit 10 KG Haltekraft für den Bau meiner eigenen Outdoorküche verwendet, um die Türen und Klappen sicher geschlossen zu halten. Die Größe von 20 x 7 mm mit dem praktischen Loch zur einfachen Befestigung war ideal für mein Projekt. Die Magnete ziehen wirklich ordentlich an und sind extrem stark, sodass die Türen auch bei Wind oder Bewegung fest verschlossen bleiben. Was man vielleicht noch verbessern könnte: Die Kapsel könnte einen Tick widerstandsfähiger sein, aber das ist bei dieser Haltekraft jammern auf hohem Niveau. Wichtiger ist, dass sie genau das tun, was sie sollen: Sie sorgen für eine zuverlässige Funktion der Schranktüren im Außenbereich. Absolut top für Heimwerkerprojekte, bei denen es auf starke Haltekraft ankommt.

A decent set of magnets. I use them for holding a shelf vertical, and the strength is perfect for that. It is nice that they come with washers and screws supplied.
