Mr. Christmas Regal Carousel Musical Animated Indoor Christmas Decoration, 17 Inch, White

I bought a triple decker carousel made by the same company some years ago, and I was very dissatisfied with it. It was way too expensive for what I got. In the end I had a carousel that looked very unrealistic, and it was also extremely loud, with the music sounding very cheaply produced, and sounding too much like a computer. But this one blows the triple decker out of the water. I happened to be visually impaired, but I was told by a number of friends that it looks very much like what you would see in an amusement park, except for the Christmas theme. It even has steps that riders would climb toward the carousel. The music sounds like it was actually produced by a band, rather than computer generated beeps. The outer edges of the carousel are very ornate looking, with multiple colors, including the gold filigree that was described. And where is the triple decker was made mostly of plastic, this looks like there is a lot of wood, metal, and Klos, like you would find on a real carousel. There is some plastic, but it looks like it’s only at the very bottom. It’s not cheap, but in my opinion it was well worth some money and difficulty on packaging. When there is no music, the motor isn’t that loud, and unlike the triple decker, there are very few if any mechanical clicks. My only gripe is that they could’ve done a better job with the way the reindeer go up and down. They rise and fall straight up and down, rather than in a circular motion like you would see on a real carousel. And, I wish they took samples of a band organ, to simulate the sound of the real thing, rather than just using synthesizers, but hey. It’s otherwise very good. Update. As a clarification, and to mention how difficult it was to get it out of the package, I had to pull on the Styrofoam and break many of the pieces of it. Not it’s a Carousel, but the packing material. I also ended up causing extensive damage to the box itself attempting to remove it. also, the reindeer are held in place by these little cardboard pieces that I had to takeoff, and given that there were over 20 characters on this carousel, between trying to get the carousel out of the box, and making the creature is ready to go up and down, the whole thing took about 30 minutes for me to get done, although it probably would’ve taken less time if I’d had cited help. but still, it is a very beautiful piece, and even my friends who have seen it say this.

Buy it!! My boys love it but maybe I love it more! This is a Christmas piece my children and grandchildren will always remember at my house. It is so beautiful.

Finally splurged on this very expensive item only for it to show up in rough shape and not turning and stained. Really disappointed. Seems to risky to reorder.

It is absolutely amazing, really well made and looks beautiful ,hand painted and going to look great at Christmas. it’s my birthday then so it’s a special present from my husband. so never thought to take photos of it before packing away for Christmas. just love it. Bigger than i thought but that’s even better.

This is fantastic piece of Christmas Decor. However, it is bigger than it appears. It works as described and the Christmas melodies are upbeat. Note before trying it out, make sure to take care unpacking and completely unpack it, as it is very well packaged for shipping - need at least two people to ensure that the carousel is not damaged. There are also pieces of cardboard that need to be carefully removed from the reindeers on the carousel, as like in a real carousel they go up and down. Well worth the price if you have a Christmas village and need to add - just that little something - to give your village life.
