Huawei Huawei GX8 - Factory Unlocked Phone - Retail Packaging (Space Grey)

Very happy with this phone. Quick and responsive with a great rear camera. Clear loud speakers and so far has run everthing I've put on it without a stutter. Camera takes great pictures and has useful basic features. Phone audio is clear. Fingerprint unlock feature works smoothly and is convenient although placement on the back of the phone is a little high for me to easily reach. The phone itself feels solid and is thin enough to slip easily in and out of pocket. In my opinion a very nice powerful phone for the money.

I've spent the last year plus researching and looking at various smart phones. I dislike contracts and payments, and I didn't see the point of spending a lot of money on a smart phone. Admittedly, this is my second smart phone...ever. I have a tendency to use my electronics until they are dead and well, my old Samsung...the old girl didn't have much life left in her. So, when I went on the quest to find a new phone, I had some criteria in mind.Decent battery lifeNice cameraThe phone aspect needs to workLarge enough screen with my dismal eyesightOkay, I'll admit that I have few requirements in terms of mobile phones.So far, liking the battery life. Much. The camera takes beautiful shots (better than my Sony point and shoot digital camera-14mp). While the phone itself is about the size of my old Samsung AND a bit heavier (that surprised me), The font size was an issue with my eyesight but I found a decent app to help with that.There many features about the phone that I like including: Cost, finger print scan, fast start when turned off, many of the swipe and one-handed features, other stuff previously listed.Things I'm on the fence about: Wanting to add my old ringtone and have yet to figure out how, don't care for the scaled back Contact list and need to find a better one, bit of a learning curve with the new android o/s (but really glad the phone came with it).All in all, I'm pleased with the phone.

I bought this last month, until then I had iPhone 5c. Although this phone claim to be powerful, but the reality is not. It can't handle any load, managing two simple applications is difficult for this phone. The quality of the mic is very poor. Most of the times, I have to repeat to others.One of greatest feature is the battery life. Extremely good battery. it runs for 2 days easily (for medium user).It has great looks and screen brightness is very good.But my worry is on the performance side. The custom OS makes this phone really bad performer.My iPhone 5c, although very old works great. Huwei should focus on improving performance and mic quality.

To be, absolutely, honest: I have never been so dissatisfied with a smartphone. After reading the other reviews, we took a chance, and, apparently, both the phones we ordered must have been the two-in-a-million that are flukes. The battery life is not good at all. With normal use the battery lasted a half a day. Compared to my Blade Z Max with will last up to 2 days normally. Maybe we just got spoiled with our Blades. The performance is, also, very horrible. Both of our phones have been freezing up constantly upon opening simple low memory apps; even while they are the only apps running. I am, overall, dissatisfied with the purchase. Spend the extra $20 $40 dollars (depending in where you find it) and get the blade Z Max. You will not be disappointed at all. Oh, and a major side note, the seller BREED does not want to accept my return. Way to go with your business BREED. We expect more professionalism from you.

I've had this phone for 10 days as I write this review. So far I'm quite pleased with it. I've had no problems with any of the apps I've tried on it so far. It's pretty fast and it has good graphic quality and takes good pics. The reasons for giving it 3 stars is that huawei doesn't seem interested in providing an upgrade to Android marshmallow even though this phone isn't that old. The battery seems to drain kinda quickly when watching vids or even just browsing the web although so far it's made it through the day without running for the nearest charger. One additional note: because of the curved edges of the screen your typical glass screen protectors will not give total coverage. Will add to my review after a few months unless something happens and I feel a need to let people know.

Wonderful phone! I love everything about this phone - battery life is great (compared to my previous phone Samsung ) I can not charge it for few days and it still will work. The camera makes great photos and even has some extra features as beatification :).The screen is not too large but large enough for reading - great phone and even more, for a great price.

This is a great phone I bought this brand because I had a AT&T phone made by Huawei for 8 years that still working. I almost let the reviews about the camera turn me away I'm glad I didn't because unless you're a professional photographer you'll think this is a great camera. I would trade for any I phone or Samsung out there well maybe the S7 but nothing less hope this helps those who can't decide.

I expected the phone with dual sim to have 4G on both the sims but I see that one of the SIM is only 2G supported. Cannot be upgraded to Marsh Mallow. the interface is also difference than the standard android phone. NFC setting not available. Disappointment !!!!! I wish I get my cash back. Amazon or Huawei listening. Please give some honest technical info and provide phone that delivers. Yeah, the graphics all look good But MarshMallow upgrade is not supported. It has EUI Interface and I don't know what that is !!!
