Great stuff for cat roundworms
Greatest thing around for cat roundworms. We adopted [and neutered] a family of feral cats last year, and we did a lot of research on the easiest and best way to deworm them. They can't be picked up and handled and have a tablet forced down their throats. In the first place, that would be put us in danger or scratches and bites, and, in the second place, we have gained their trust and we don't want to jeopardize that. We calculated the proper dosage for our now year-old cats weighing about 5 kg each. [We used 0.5 mL of this suspension per cat, but you should do your own calculations for your cats if you plan to use it that way. If in doubt, ask your veterinarian.] We add the 0.5 mL per cat to one ounce of canned catfood each, mix it thoroughly, and feed it to them. That is all there is to it. They eat it with no hesitation at all. We generally mix it the night before, refrigerate it, and then give it to them for their first meal of the day. After the first treatment, we set up a further series of three more doses [one at 2 weeks, the next 3 weeks after that one, and the third 4 weeks after the previous one] to complete the initial round. After that, we treat every 3 months. This stuff is a very good investment and the bottle holds enough for many treatments for lots of cats. You should follow your vet's advice or do your own careful research. Our schedule of treatment may not be for you. This stuff seems to be very effective and it does not harm the cats if properly used. It is safe even for humans [the label gives only human doses]; we tasted it, and it has a pleasant taste that cats do not notice at all when mixed with their canned food. Our local animal rescue people have been using this suspension for a long time.

Embarrassing and effective.
Let's admit it. Having to buy this stuff is embarrassing. I had the tell-tale itchy bum, like, really itchy. I paid a visit to Dr. Google and decided pin-worms were the problem. I have two kids, one that is in daycare, and one, who is a teenager, who is just plain dirty. This stuff came in the typical Amazon white envelope. No markings on the package to let your postman, or wife, or neighbors know you have some odd worm infestation. You get a lot of this stuff for the money. The bottle is 16 ounces. Compare it to the name-brand stuff that costs $10 more for only 3 ounces. This is the way to go. Flavor was great. I liken it to milted vanilla ice cream or maybe vanilla party cake. I found it delightful. I weigh in at 170 pounds and took 3 1/2 teaspoons, per the guide on the bottle. I felt fine all night and into the morning. When I went to the bathroom I did indeed see the little pin-worms hanging out in my stuffs. I did't have any trouble with gastric discomfort. Online guide for practitioners recommends a follow-up treatment in 2-weeks just to make sure they are gone. If you need this stuff, and let's admit it, when you need it, you need it, this is what you want. You get a lot, it's effective and it tastes good. Best of all, it works! I would buy it again, but's let's really hope I don't have to.

Must have product if you have puppies or kittens
Easy to use because it does not smell or taste bad - kittens and dogs accept it. It's gentle, so no after effects- functions well.

Better than expectations
I had strong suspicions that one of our 4 kids had pinworms as they said they described seeing one after using the bathroom, and 2 memebers of our family reported having 'itchy-butt'. I have no idea how my kids would get this infection - regardless, something needed to be done, so I took my child into two different physicians. I wanted immediate treatment so the first visit we got into see a Dr right away; however, he was skeptical to treat because we don't have a hygiene problem or "live in a 3rd world country". So, after scheduling a visit to our family clinic the Dr took it more seriously and called in a prescription - which was an ungodly amount, even after insurance we could not afford to pay $830 out of pocket for this prescription. So, I researched for an alternative and found this solution. This product shipped quickly and the seal was secure. After reading some reviews I put the product in the fridge for 12 hrs to help with the taste and reached back out to the clinic where they advised it was okay to use this product to treat our family. When the time came, nobody in our family was thrilled to take this stuff because some reviews mentioned feeling icky or crampy; however, all 6 of us (including Mom and Dad) sucked it up and each took the recommended dose with dinner > the taste was like a super sweet banana malt > we had a few disgusted faces, but nobody gagged. I started again on disinfecting all bedding; and, we anticipated bathroom breaks through the night - which never happened. No pain, no cramping. Only 2 of us had one episode of mild diarrhea the following morning. The rest of us didn't even notice. It's been almost 3 days since treatment and so far so good. No worms seen and no more reports of 'itchy-butt'. We will treat again for the 2 week follow-up. Meanwhile, per recommendations, we are continuing to disinfect our home and bedding to prevent re-infestation.

ton of cats
I take care of some feral cats and needed something that would rid the worms in them without me having to catch them and insert a pill. I do apply a topical on the bulk of them yet there is always one or two who see what I am about to apply so they back off. This year was a big one for fleas in my area so I wanted to be ready. I did a ton of research and found a few sites, ran by vets and vet assistance who care to let people in on this little secrete, that this type solution work on pets as well. THE BIG DIFFERENCE IS KNOW THE DOSAGE. Luckily I found a dosage chart at a few sites.....a little tuna and dosage mix to each of them and no more issue. I don't know if they had them yet they are feral, or rather semi feral now, so treatment was done as a safe guard after my personal cat came down with worms. She is prone to such even though she has been treated with topical for the entirety of being with me. I keep a watchful eye on that so when I saw she had them it meant doing all the cats on this property...if one has them most likely all have them is my thought to this. I will state that using this to de-wormed takes a couple of doses yet is still far less costly than buy pet pre packaged items, seeing how I have some many to treat. Most sites that show the dosage chart are consistent as far as volume in which to give yet the recommended follow up can differ. Some state to re-treat after 4 week, others stated 2-4 weeks and some stated after 2 week. I believe the reason for this is due to knowing how bad you cat may have worms. Insects in general have a 21 day life cycle meaning eggs hatch then. Worms in our pets are cause by ingesting the flea which turn into worm which eventually come out via fecal matter which become fleas. With that said treating to break this cycle is important. Waiting 4 weeks may not be an option for you yet is for others. As I stated, my personal cat is prone to this so I treated her after two weeks. As far as any effect on the cats nature...at the sites I read for dosage stated some issue could occur yet for the most part it is a safe way to treat for such. In the 8 feral and my personal cat I saw no ill effect and no worms afterwards.

Works okay-ish but will make you feel sick for a while.
Oh man. Okay, for one, it tasted surprisingly good. Yes, I bought it for my cats, but if your cats have worms, why not take the safe route and make sure you're clear? It's like a vanilla protein shake (that slight grainy/chalky taste you might expect). One of my cats drank it fine, almost seemed to enjoy it, the other had to have it forced down their throat. One of them had a pinch of a sour stomach, but that same cat overeats and then pukes anyway, so I'm not positive. I, however, felt terrible. An hour or so after taking it, I felt nauseous, my head started to hurt, and I felt that weird kind of clammy you get when you have a mild fever. I took it before going to work, which was a very stupid idea. I had given it to my guy and my kid as well, thinking I was playing it safe. Hook worms and such can really mess a human up, and if you have a kid, you know they get into everything and shove random objects in their mouth, so... I thought I was being clever. My kid vomited twice but otherwise seemed okay. My guy did not vomit but was miserable. The effects were completely gone after about 48 hours. We humans did not do a follow up dose two weeks later, but I did for the cats. It worked okay for the cats, but must not have completely cleared them. Eventually I got some of those tapeworm (and other worm types) pills that are more pricey and it finished off the worm issue. I hear pyrantel pamoate is much gentler than poisons for cats that are a little young/sickly/elderly, but it also isn't quite as effective. Get some cheap litter and completely change their box every day, wash bedding and vacuum, blah blah, or they WILL come back. It doesn't kill them, just paralyzes them and moves them out of the system. Despite everything you read about how gentle it is on humans, I would definitely only recommend this if you don't have the option of going to the doctor and are quite confident you're infected. It seems likely to cause: mild to moderate cramping, sweating, nausea, vomiting, and headache. And YES, we were very careful with measuring our doses according to weight. DON'T take on a day you have stuff to do, take it on a day off! Also, it does take rather nice and the top isn't hard to get off, so KEEP IT AWAY FROM CHILDREN. I could totally see a kid downing the stuff without knowing better.

Best price
Typically when you get this OTC at a drugstore, it is banana flavored. My children hate the banana flavor one! And typically when you have this parasite infestation, you need to do at least three doses... So knowing that we discontinued using the banana flavored one and found this vanilla one! Smells like vanilla, and tastes like vanilla! Much better than the other brand. I would say the quality is comparable to the normal OTC One... But the price is better here! We could dose the entire family (6) with this bottle. So it is big for families. It's super easy to use. Just follow the directions!!
