my first attempt to program the fobs I was unsuccessful. I looked at these reviews and someone wrote step by step instructions. His first step was put in a battery. I opened up my fobs and there was a battery in it. I bought some new batteries and changed them and then programing process was very easy. It was just very annoying that the fobs came with dead batteries.

Old fobs were toast. Dealers post pandemic had parts delivery time issues that were just stupid depressing. Found these on Amazon, delivered packaged very well. Installed batteries, followed simple directions for encoding. And done. Very satisfied. Same build quality as OEM. Same OEM style. Much more reasonable cost to purchase and delivery was MONTHS faster than dealerships. Awesome aftermarket replacement, IMHO.

These fobs work as expected and we're easy to install in less than five minutes. Unfortunately, they don't have very much range ... Seem to work best from 30 feet or less

GM has ridiculous after market part pricing but the fobs work well as original. Programming instructions could have been better. Youtube solved.
