The lettering guide is fine. The problem is that I speak English, and I got TWO SETS OF INSTRUCTIONS IN FRENCH, BUT NONE IN ENGLISH. So I was pretty much on my own figuring out how to use the device. I found YouTube videos, but I shouldn't have had to experience that extra layer of inconvenience. I might hesitate to recommend this because the carelessness doesn't really deserve buyers' patronage.

It barely worked. The center is more oval than circle and wasn't that easy to move. The Staedtler logo was branded on there cock-eyed. There was actually another company name on the plastic mold of this imposter.The packaging wasn't even what Staedtler usually packages this product in. It was a clear plastic bag with a sheet of paper inside. It should have been cardboard backer with heat shrink clear plastic.
