Great flavor. Family favorite when it comes to Indian garlic pickles.

This is a unique pickled dish that's hard to explain. The lime is the most potent flavor, but it's a bitter, rind-full taste that I normally don't like... it's contributing both a sour fruity flavor, but the bitterness is unpleasant to me. I also taste the turmeric, coriander and cumin pretty clearly. The overall mix of flavors does remind me of some other Indian foods. I can pick out the chunks of mango and carrot, and maybe even bits of lime with the rinds on in it? The spice/heat/pain is mild to medium to me. I think the more shocking thing to the tongue is the sourness and bitterness in combination, than the spice level. It's a very strong and shocking flavor that's worth trying. I have no idea how to use it in a dish, or as a side. It's so overwhelming. Ordered December 2023 Best before August 2025 (20 months expiration) Store in the refrigerator once openned. One came broken. Not able return. Will not buy again for that reason.

This stuff is priceless. Just the right amount of heat and you only need a small amount to satisfy.

There was another brand I usually order so I substituted this brand. It's a little spicier than the one I usually order but it's good.

I love this product

I was introduced to Indian pickles by an Indian friend, who said American pickles were bland. Indian pickles are really something completely different... more like spices with oil and a some fruit or vegetables to add bulk. They are too salty and full of bitter raw spices to find much pleasure in eating straight, but a little on flatbread is delicious. These pickles have that same classic flavor. They are a very basic staple Indian food, so you can likely find this MUCH cheaper locally if you have stores that sell them. I also had an issue with the jar leaking when it came, but at least is was sealed in a plastic bag to catch the liquid.

Tasty Unique Flavor - This is a common indian pickled relish and it tastes well in that respect. It does taste good but it may be an acquired or specific to person taste. Good enough for me where I can eat a lot in a sitting as an enjoyable experience. Salty, Spicy, Oily - There is a decent amount of spiciness, saltiness, and oiliness here. The spiciness is about medium to high strength for the general population, for someone used to spiciness it may be light. There is also a decent amount of saltiness and it is in olive oil, so it is pretty oily. There are some pickled mango chunks spread throughout, but don't expect a huge amount of mango flavor, it is subtle at most since it is pickled and there is a lot of competing flavor here. Bread Food - Because of the strength of the flavor, it is best to eat with a food item that doesn't have a lot of flavor instilled already, so it complements bread type food the best. It can be eaten with lean protein meats like chicken, but this feels sub optimal. Normal American type bread works or if you are familiar with indian bread, naan and roti work excellently. A Very nice Chilli Pickle... Lovely with a Curry

This LIME pickle is very tasty. Although I wanted the lemon one they had sold out. There is a slight difference but you will not be disappointed in the lime. I particularly like the makers of this product as I have tried other pickles of theirs before.
