This was easy to install (no instructions with it, but after googling and watching a few videos it was a piece of cake.) All the parts, including the laundry line, pulleys and tightener were excellent quality. I’ve always wanted one of these, but was afraid the assembly would be too complicated. I already had the laundry line hooks installed, so putting up one line took a diagonal cutter for cutting the line, and about 10 minutes. I just ordered more parts for the two other laundry lines. No more sliding the chair with the basket back and forth in the dirt under the laundry line. Now I can hang all the laundry from the little brick patio I built for this purpose.

I've had several clothes lines and this is by far the best I've had. Strong, easy to use and the pulleys are good quality. The optional piece to keep the line close together should be attached once you have about half of the clothes on the line or else it will stop the pulleys when it gets to the other end. It's not necessary but might be for those who have it lower to the ground where people walk or have a lot of weight on the line.

UPDATE** all the pieces are here and so far it works great! I may add something to help keep the tension good. The one black piece doesn’t seem to be enough. Other than that I am loving this!** The boxes is tore up and the product inside looked like someone shoved it back in. I haven’t had a chance to put it up yet. I’m really hoping all the pieces are there 😔. I probably should have chosen the used option for less money

If you are at all handy, have the space, and want to save wear and tear on your clothes and your wallet, this clothesline may be for you! My husband installed from the railing of our deck to an upper, outside corner of our detached garage. This clothesline is very sturdy, with vinyl coated steel cable and a heavy duty pulley system and once the tension is tightened it moves very easily and smoothly.

I was able to make quite a long run between the pulleys, so a lot of clothing can be hung out at the same time. The line being made of plastic coated metal handles more weight than a regular rope would. Very good quality product. I’d buy it again.

Did not know what to expect for the relatively low price - but the quality is good. I ended up using all but 7' of the cable. It stays up nice. We were used to a gas dryer, and decided to try taking advantage of all the backyard heat and sun. Figured teh UV kills off more of the bacteria in the clothing - and clothes come out smelling fresh AND it's good for the environment (and it saves a little bit of money too).

The cable itself is great but you have to make it tight so it doesnt sag once clothes are on the line. The hooks bent and our entire line came down. We replaced them with heavy duty hooks and so far so good! The pulley system is okay but has some cheap looking pieces. Not sure how long it will hold up.
