This is a pretty cute set. I bought it after a dentist visit when my kids were curious about teeth and good brushing practices. The set was on sale for $19.99 and included a ton of items including a model tooth set with some teeth that were wiggly and you could pull on and they’d wiggle, a toothbrush to practice brushing, some stickers to be “tooth decay” and other items to make it fun for kids to learn about dental hygiene. Melissa and Doug is usually a draw for me to want to buy the toys. The quality is usually good and this set was no different. We also own the Melisa and Doug doctors kit so all items are now mixed together for the kids to play doctor/dentist. My kids are 2-8 and they all enjoy playing with the set. I think it has helped to make for better nighttime brushing routines.

I bought this when my child was only 15 months old, to prepare for a first dentist visit. Obviously not all the items were age appropriate but we used a lot of them to practice being patients at the dentist. It was a lot of fun, and worked great. My child was great for the dentist, and every visit since. Now, at 3, it’s a really fun play set. Always a hit with guests too. Well made and well thought out.
