I didn't realize how much of a time saver this would be. I used this when installing LVP and the cutter worked flawlessly. The price is excellent considering there were many others at twice the price. The build quality is great and it assembled very easily. Delivery was on time and quick. It has the different angles engraved on the face for quick selection to cut, but there are no stops for the angles, so pay attention to your position before cutting. This is a serious cutting machine, so no kids around this tool and be sure to lock it when not in use.

Cutter works very well. I’m using it in 10mm Mohawk laminate. Helps keep you from using a saw on 90 degree cuts. Stay inside and snap the laminate with no saw dust. Sharp cuts and very easy to set up and use. Very Portable also.

I bought this to install Pergo flooring in my mom’s whole house. This made my job so much easier. Made cuts clean and simple.

Let me start off by saying, I don't regret buying this at all. It is very good at end cuts, and I love the fact that I don't need to run a saw and create a cloud of microplastics for most cuts. Your mileage may vary, but when trying to make a lengthwise cut as depicted in the first image, the Luxury Vinyl Plank would crack at the end of the cut.

Does the job right

I used this to cut 6.5mm thick vinyl planks for my 1000 SF main living area. The cutter is sturdy, durable, easy to use, and gives you quality cuts. I like that you can easily purchase replacement blades; though, I didn't need to. The blade was still in excellent condition by the time I finished the project. For $100, it was well worth the investment for all the time and energy it saved me trying to score and snap each piece. It's also much faster and cleaner that using a saw, as it doesn't create any dust, like would get with a saw.

I liked it. I and 2 plastic stips I did not attach. Instruction were questionable about it. It worked fine. I did not have a big job. I needed planks cut. Cut and snap would not work for me.

The product works as intended but I had 2 issues with it. First and foremost, the slicing blade is razor sharp and also somewhat hidden in the metal frame. Be very careful when unpacking this unit! You will seriously injure yourself if you inadvertently touch the blade. The second issue is that the handle locking bar became stuck and the handle could no longer be locked in the storage position. From a performance perspective, I was easily able to cut through 1/2 inch thick vinyl planks.

Considering this came from the USA, it arrived really quickly, well packaged and good condition. My Husband has used it a few times for his flooring business and is really very pleased with it. It cuts cleanly and efficiently and has no problems at all. A great product and makes light work of cutting laminate, and for a good price too.

It's exactly what they showed

The item came already assembled, except one; connecting the handle to the unit. I didn't like the way the handle is connected to the unit. You just push it down in but I didn't notice anything to confirm the connection is firm. Also I didn't see a washer (as depicted) which is supposed to be placed between the unit surface and the handle. I used it for cutting 6 mm vinyl plank boards. I didn't think that the cut needs such a force I found. (Because of the softness of the plank as well as the sharpness of the blade, I thought the cutting will be easy, next to cutting butter, so to speak.) Overall, it is worth for the money, I'd say.

This tool comes in super handy for straight cuts width wise, however for any other type of cut it is cumbersome to setup, specially if they are one off cuts. I bought this thinking it would allow me to cut vinyl planks length wise however it splits/tears the vinyl planks after your first cut. You can go a lot faster with a table saw or jigg saw for this specific purpose. Also the build quality is so so. It annoyed me that the ruler which is supposed to guide you in your measurements is a sticker which tends to fall off. I would buy a model with less features since in reality it is only suitable for straight cuts width wise.

Works great and easy to use
