Incredibly delicious! And I am not a fish lover, so that's saying a lot. I wasn't familiar with what mackerel tasted like, but I like the idea of food that is easy to prepare but not processed. These mackerel fillets check both boxes. I found myself eating two cans at a time. The meat has a natural sweetness that makes it irresistible. Packed in just the right amount (not swimming in it) of virgin olive oil which we all know is a very healthy oil Highly recommended.

I’ve bought multiple 12 packs of this mackerel and I’ve loved every single one. Great quality and not too fishy tasting or smelling, and the texture is perfect. I eat it a couple times a week. This is the only brand I’ll buy!

Love this stuff. It’s so yummy. 😋 does not taste like sardines or nasty fish it’s like mild tuna. Get the olive oil one it’s good for your heart. You drain most of the olive oil before you eat it anyway. You leave just enough to make it moist. I eat it right out of the can three or four times a week. Perfect for your omega-3’s. It’s literally the most nutritious food in the world for your body.

Let me start by saying that I generally hate the taste of fish. Eating this only for the supposed benefits of the omega 3s. Apparently, mackerel is the highest or close to the highest source. I’ve tried about 8 brands of mackerel. Between this and the King Oscar Mediterranean, you can’t go wrong. This is the most plain, clean tasting, and least offensive mackerel. It barely smells. I normally have to add Dijon mustard to mackerel to choke it down, but don’t even need to with this. It tastes basically like canned tuna. Add some cayenne and cumin and you’re all set. The price is also great.
