Very pleased with this electric blanket. The fleecey pile is generous and you cannot feel the wires when lying on it. Heat settings are good. There are 3 levels. Number 1 is barely detectable, and can be used to just remove the initial chill from smooth cotton sheets. This setting is one that I have not really used though it may be the setting of choice for those who prefer to sleep all night with the heat setting switched on the whole time. Likewise for heat level number 2. This is a delicious and comforting setting which provides you with a "wrap you up" warmth from shoulder to your toes. Level 3 setting gives you that "Ahhhh!" feel the minute you slip between the sheets; devine on a much colder night. I usually switch it on about 30 minutes before going to bed although it heats up well within that time. Sometimes it may be an hour later befor I go to bed but the blanket never overheats above the setting. This is part of the overheat safety device, so that the blanket can be kept on throughout if desired, without the heat ever building up beyond the set levels.The instruction leaflet is clear. It came in the packaging, but outside of the sealed wrapping of the blanket itself. This means it can be studied without breaking the safety hygiene seal on the blanket package, which would immediately render the blanket non-returnable. One thing of note is that the leaflet states that this blanket is not suitable for those with a PACEMAKER. I have a pacemaker but I would think this warning would only apply if one was lying on the blanket while it was turned on, which I would not be doing as the initial warm up before getting into bed is more than adequate. The good thing is that the blanket has dual switches, one for each side of the bed, so your partners sleep settings of choice are not affected.The size is perfect for a 5 feet wide kingsize bed. The blanket covers the surface completely from top to bottom and side to side. Although the blanket covers the complete surface, the heating cables sensibly do not heat underneath the pillows. Heating starts from the top of your shoulder, right down to your feet, stopping just a centimeter or so before the absolute bottom of the bed.The four corners have generous elastic straps which are simple to pop under each corner of the mattress, and I can confirm that they hold the blanket securely in place.We are very pleased to have chosen this electric blanket, which lives up to its description, and we are happy to recommend it.

I can’t believe I lived without this for so long! I’ve never owned an electric blanket before and was quite dubious about doing so because of safety. I can definitely say that I feel like this blanket is very safe and it is brilliant. It sits underneath my bottom sheet and is secured to each corner so doesn’t move around. I pop it onto setting 3 about 30 minutes before going to bed and this gets the bed lovely and toasty which is AMAZING when it’s been a cold day and normally I’d be getting into a cold bed. I usually then turn it down to setting 1 throughout the night to keep warm but not too warm. The dual setting controls are great because my husband and I like different levels of heat and this is so impressive with how it does this. Overall, I would never not have an electric blanket during the colder months again. I’m so impressed with it and super pleased with my purchase!UPDATE: This costs a LOT more to run than is advertised. The advert says less than 2p per hour. I can see from my electric bills that the usage drops dramatically when the blanket isn’t used. I’m talking £s per day. If you get this, use it to heat up the bed before bed but don’t leave it on overnight.

This blanket is lovely and soft and fits our Euro-king mattress well - I bought the superking. It come right to the edge of the mattress width-ways, which means that my DP, who sleeps right on the edge, is toasty too. It is easy to put on and stays flat without rucking up, although the elastic at the top could have been a little longer, but it's fine. We've only had it set to Number One so far, but it makes getting into bed a pleasure.One of the reasons I chose this item was the controls - there seemed to be many people reviewing other products which have more sophisticated controls who reported them failing. This blanket has the simple slider control which has proved reliable on previous blankets I have had over the years. Alright, you can't set a timer to switch it off, but I don't mind that if the product is more reliable. The controls don't stick in you, either!Altogether, I think the product is very good and am looking forward to being cosy this winter.

We only use this to warm the bed up on setting 3 for ten minutes or so before getting in. It does this just fine. It is more basic than other electric blankets we have had previously, as there is no timer and only three heat settings. It is perfectly adequate for our use and the fleece is very soft and comfortable.

This is the best item I have purchased from Amazon I read lots of reviews and I am so glad I bought two of these, I ordered a super king for our bed which is a kingside thinking it wouldn’t cover the whole bed, I shouldn’t have done as the sizes are true, no cold spots. No.3 is too hot, no.2 is perfect. Great quality and price. I highly recommend this electric blanket, soft to touch and very economical to run. Unlike most electric blankets you cannot feel the heating elements either, plus the blanket does not ride up the bed! Perfect buy for these cold nights.

Spent a small fortune on our last superking electric blanket. There was a cold line of about 6” down the middle and one half stopped working after 2 years. This looked cheap and cheerful. Much easier to put on, only 3 settings. The highest doesn’t yet Uber hot like the last one and at first I was not sure it would be warm enough. Takes 20 mins to warm up. It’s really cosy and does the job perfectly.

I needed a cheap electric blanket as nights are cold now and dual controls as my husband is never chilly - and this does the job admirably. You can pay so much more for an electric blanket but this does exactly what I needed - heats up either side of the bed quickly and efficiently. The top temp (3) is HOT so I usually plump for number 2 which is lovely and toasty - the number one just takes the chill off the sheets !!
