Uni Mechanical Pencil Lead Nano Dia Color 0.7mm, Red(U07202NDC.15)

Looks great. Has a good ammount of pigment. The lead is strong and dosent break. I am able to create fine lines and apply color well. It also fits in non uni pencil well. It does smudge a little but is still better than cheap lead. Overall it works great on sketchbook paper as a under drawing. I would still use a workable fixative to over it in order to paint. I will add these to my permanent use bag.

By day, I work as a mild-mannered print journalist, hammering out deathless prose about commission meetings and upcoming summer festivals on my iBook. I haven't seen a piece of paper copy in need of editing for ten years. However, in the evenings I get to write my own fiction on a 1923 Underwood Number Five, then edit the copy with a red pencil, just like in the "olden days." This lead works great in my mechanical pencil and though slightly prone to breakage when I get carried away and bear down too hard, overall it does the job well. Since red pencil lead is about as hard to find today as cloth typewriter ribbon, I plan to order a lifetime supply within the next few days. Delivery was very fast and the product arrived intact and in good condition.

leads are stronger but still broke with pressure very erasable

As others have said, this is really good lead. Its dark and erases nearly completely. I'm happy to have found it and it'll be my go-to when I need more. I'm using this to mark up schematics and it stands out nicely against the black and white schematics.

Bought the pencil to use with my paper calendar-- for erasable highlighting. Works well and does erase satisfactorily (always a problem with colored pigment). It is a light and mostly plastic pencil -- but adequate for my needs.

I use them on my plans. I can erase if i make a mistake and never need to sharpen the pencil

The lead visually isn't very blue, it's more of a slate gray color. I think the lead content is too strong. But it does erase good when making a mistake. When loading my pencils I do occasionally deal with the lead braking.

In general ok, but breaks a little bit more than the usual black branded leads

Arrived as expected. Just needed some distinguishing lettering on some work so I didn't need (or tried) it for heavy duty work (colouring in etc). Don't notice any difference with normal black leads. Does what I wanted it to do
