Needed a new timer after fridge was ice cold in the freezer but main compartment was warm to hot :( Looked up the part and found it here. Installed it this weekend. There are no instruction for install, - Google for how to remove the old one and install the new part. Plug and Play with no adjustment needed. Part has been installed since 4/20 and is still operating properly. Fridge goes into defrost cycle and cooling cycle. No frost build up in freezer section and main section is nice and cold :) I can now put my leftovers in there and not fear they will go bad.

The old (apparently previously "repaired") defrost timer was hot to the touch minutes after being removed. While the refrigerator was so old that I am unable to find a manual for it online, I was able to partially match refrigerator model number. With some trepidation, I pried out the old timer and connected this one. The refrigerator now works far more reliably. A sticking defrost timer can literally prevent your refrigerator from cycling on. Needless to say, I am very happy with this timer. Yes, it looks like what is in the photo. There are installation videos available online. You just snap on the connector from your refrigerator and manually turn the grey disk in the center until it clicks twice in rapid succession. Plug your refrigerator back in, and let the refrigerating begin!

Bought two of these PartsBroz defrost timers because of the great value (only $10.00 each). Unfortunately the first one failed after a little less than 10 months. And that was with the refrigerator being unplugged for 4 months over the winter! I would pass on these and just buy the OEM. The OEM is triple the price but will last for years instead of months

Used for and old defective fridge. Works great for a few weeks but had other issues with the fridge and got rid of it.

Put 5 month ago still working good

It fixed out 25 year old Whirlpool 19 cuft refrigerator. Part was same shape as the original but with a clear part showing the gear system of the timer. But try as I might it would not slide over the retainer pins, so I slowly drilled out the holes until it would just slide on, I put the retainer clips back on even though it felt sturdy. Now my refrigerator is working like new, just took a while to adjust the temperature to 35.5F. Around 34F the lettuce freezes, and above 37F the food doesn't last as long, but now it perfect. No more freeze ups.

Timer was what I needed and reasonable in price
