Excellent machine, pleasant, sturdy, great exercise
I bought this scooter because riding my racing bike started hurting my back. I wanted something that I could ride standing up. This scooter fits the bill. Compared to the ones with small wheels, it feels like I have more directional control and balance, and don’t have to push as frequently. Using the large handlebars with the bike-size front wheel feels just like handling a regular-size bike. The brakes feel the same way, too, and they are very responsive. As any kick scooter, traveling uphill is not much fun. I actually walk when the slope is steeper than 5% or so. But on flat ground, kicking this machine along is pure delight, and feels like great exercise—better than a bike. You work harder, and you don’t move as fast, but you know that your heart and muscles are working. I just timed a trip to the pharmacy one mile away, with some serious ups and downs. The trip there took 14 minutes, the trip back took 8. My tracker watch showed average pace as 11 minutes per mile. The fastest I can walk is 15 minutes per mile on level ground. The machine is a beauty. The sturdy elegance you see in the photos is real. It is really a strikingly pleasant thing to look at. I am glad I chose the white finish. The mechanics are extremely solid, simple, the traditional nuts and bolts engineering that I remember from my bikes back in the sixties. Adsembly was unproblematic, all the holes lined up, etc. I am not associated with the vendor or manufacturer, and I was not asked to write this review.

Not a bad deal
Seems well made. I had a local bike shop put it together and 'tweek' it for $30. They said it seems like a solid ride and a good deal. They tried it and said it rides easy and would be a blast if it had a gas or electric motor hooked up on it. I agree..LOL Its a work out when you use it and that is ok because that is why I bought it. feel it in your core and legs and butt. But its fun to use. I just use it to go around my villa complex and take it to the pool. The only thing I might change is the handle bars. They seem big, like Texas longhorn big. I think a simple straight bar would be better but that is an easy swap out. Its a pretty piece, I also might eventually change out the wood platform that you stand on. Its a simple plywood one on there with s sort of 'grippy' finish to it and the Schwinn logo on it. I will make a nice wood one for it, maybe even bamboo. Lots of possibilities, diamond plate even..we will see. For the money its a good deal. There are many more expensive ones out there but without seeing them and trying them I am not sure if they are worth the extra money. This scooter is long also, 70 inches overall I think. as big as a bike. I also like the kickstand, it solid and well made and placed in a good position. Overall not a bda deal, but be ready for a workout when you use it.

A really great scooter for adults, for the price.
A fairly nice scooter of mid-grade Schwinn quality that's decent, as expected. Some assembly was required out of the box but is fairly straight straight-forward (with one having to install front wheel, front fender, and tighten down the assembled stem and handlebar). One possible issue is that the rear brake cable, which is internally routed in two places through the frame, may activating the brake unintentionally if the handlebar stem is not inserted far enough in when putting the bike together. Also, the wooden baseboard where you stand has a non slip cover that was chipped on one side and is peeling off in one spot on the bike I received. oh, yes and the front wheel is somewhat out of true. And it arrived one day later than Amazon said it would be here. UPDATE: OK, after owning the Schwinn Shuffle scooter for several months now, it has proven an excellent platform for making quick trips in the ~five mile range. The original problem I identified, out of the box, with the rear brake cable being too short was resolved by lowering the handlebars a bit more into the stem. And, contrary to some other reviews, it does not seem too high or too heavy, if you are moderately fit. Perhaps some people have expectations of magic on hills but you do have to work there-or just hop off and walk up. On flats or down hills-you had best just hang on and go as fast as you dare. On average it is not going to go as fast as a bicycle but it's faster than running and on short trips, it's the bomb for pure fun. A smooth riding machine. Pros= Fun-really, really fun. Easy to get on and off -no special shoes required. Can jump up onto and off of curbs awesomely. Can handle rough tree roots, small rocks and ruts when kicking off-road through forest paths. Fenders keep the mud off. Easy to lock up at your destination. Handlebar is great-I mounted a light, bell, cup holder, and lock holder. I leave it double locked up at the metro stop during the day when I'm at work. Probably less likely to be targeted by thieves than a full up bicycle. Technique= I learned to ride in the gutters along side the curb, so I can kick off of the curb tops to rest my legs somewhat as I go. If you want to feel like a kid (again) and enjoy the open road-sidewalk-bikepath-alleyway or forest trail, get one of these...!

Best Fun & Exercise!
Love this alternative to the same old exercises. Hi quality! Great value! Proud to have a long lasting American company’s product. ❤️ I’ve been active my whole life except the last ten years. Just bored with exercise. I found this and it’s perfect! I live on a 15 mile trail (both paved and unpaved throughout) and I scoot it, walk it, jog it all with the Schwinn Shuffle Scooter. I shuffle between exercises with it because there are no pedals to bump into while keeping it close to me while I walk or jog with it between scooting. Easy on the knees but just as euphoric and invigorating as jogging. I feel the tingles (lifting) in my face like when I jog and only when I jog except with this scooter also gives me the tingles. Even the little kids are shouting when they see it. lol Momma’s toy kiddos. Kid friendly too but only experienced and balanced kids. It takes some getting used to in order to control it well. This thing is exhausting like skiing but so much fun that you don’t mind it. Love it! One note is that I keep my hands in the center versus the outer handle bars as I have found with exertion I lean on the bars and it causes them to drop and need adjusting which might strip I think but it didn’t with me cuz I stopped leaning my body weight on the outer bars. I don’t know if it’s because I didn’t tighten enough on my first one which I sold. This second one came already tightened but I still will keep my hands in the center lower part of the handle bar unless I’m gliding and thus will prepare for braking. Scooting is more invigorating than jogging and more challenging. BEST!

Disappointing Experience w/ High Deck Height & Design Issues
I purchased this kick scooter a year ago, and while the overall build quality is solid, I’m struggling to enjoy it due to a few design flaws. As someone who’s 5’3” the 6” deck height is too high, making it difficult for me to reach the ground with my foot. It forces me into a deep squat each time I need to stop, which is good to some extent is also uncomfortable and tiring to go for distance. Another issue I have is with the front wheel. The large, high wheel in the front and the small wheel in the back create a strange dynamic where it feels like you’re always fighting against the momentum, as if you’re constantly riding slightly uphill. To get any real speed, I find myself having to put in a lot of effort, and even then, the scooter quickly slows down, almost as though a brake is dragging (but I’ve confirmed that it’s not). This makes longer rides feel like a workout, not an enjoyable ride. Finally, the kickstand is too short, and as others have mentioned, it easily tips over at the slightest touch, which is really frustrating. Overall, while the quality of the scooter seems good, the design choices—especially the deck height and wheel configuration—really detract from the experience. Unfortunately, this scooter just isn’t a good fit for short me but I will still use it but likely look to add some mods like an e conversion to be able to get a little assist so I can go further and enjoy it more.

Beautiful
Was looking for a good scooter for my grandson when I came across the Schwinn Shuffle adult kick scooter. I didn’t even know they made “adult” kick scooters but when I saw the photos I just couldn’t get over the beauty and nostalgic look of this scooter. After reading the reviews I decided to get it and wow what a beautiful scooter and it is stable and the ride is so smooth. I just love and enjoy riding it with my grandson. Now for the details. If you live read the reviews you’ve undoubtedly seen these key complaints. Fenders warped, hard to assemble shotty paint and stickers put on with dirty hands. You also read that the platform is too high off the ground making it hard to ride. Here is my take on them all starting with the fenders. The rear fender on mine was a little twisted but there is a brace that is attached to the fender that connects it to the frame it is secured to the fender with two screws loosen them and straighten the brace then attaché it to the frame the tighten it all back up problem solved because it will self align. I left mine off because I’m ordering chrome fenders for mine. As for shotty craftmenship dirty stickers and such, my guess is that it was ordered used. Mine came in almost perfect shape. Now for the assembly. If you are not mechanically inclined this will be an issue, I suggest taking it to a bike shop or get someone who is mechanically inclined to assemble it. The brakes can be hard to adjust if you don’t understand how they work. I was extremely easy for me as I have worked on everything from bikes to tanks in the army. Now the ride. Yes the platform sits a little higher than other scooters and yes it will give you a workout but it is so smooth and fast that you will soon get used to it as well as in great shape. This scooter is just awesome and it is stunningly beautiful. If you are thinking of getting one get this one you won’t regret it!!!

Wow. Cool, elegant while gliding, and grabs attention even in San Francisco
I feel like I found the coolest thing, with such a surprising and unique interpretation of a simple kids scooter existing design pattern, plus a beautiful implementation: paint colors, wood features, smoothly curved frame main tube, bad ass wide beach bars that make your kids just beg, demand, or attempt to steal it, and a full size front wheel and smaller, yet still large in razor scooter terms rear wheel - both big enough to silence road surface irregularities. I found it, I found it first! Ok, no I didn’t, but it is so unique, good looking and fun as hell on a (down) hill, that I feel lucky to have it. And it’s cheap as all get out. I hope it stays as high quality as it is now, for such a cheap price, and that the manufacturing remains as crisp as it is now, for you, when you finish this review, and Buy it! Hurry. Don’t worry about the color; you might not have picked it if you had a choice. Trust me it looks great.
