Rusty after one use
After one wash spots of rust appeared. Shame, otherwise excellent.

Comparison Review: A poor copy of a similar knife from Khun Rikon
I bought these out of curiosity really. I certainly didn't need them as I have a drawer full of knives by Khun Rikon which are similar in design. I first stumbled across this knife and sheath design about two years ago, when I bought a rather funky little kitchen knife by Khun Rikon - I feel in love and since went on to by loads of them, as they're great quality, dead handy and really rather funky. That's why, when I saw these, I bought them - it was purely out of curiosity. I just wanted to see how they'd stack up against my army of Khun Rikon knives. Sadly, they don't stack up at all. Although they share some of the same great features they come in a poor second. But I'll walk you through some the advantages of these knives anyway. The first thing you'll notice, is the handy little sheath. These mean the blades are kept, clean, safe and sharp. They're safe to transport around in you back pack or picnic hamper, and lets face it, it's just plain cool to have. However, the Zyliss sheaths are inferior quality and not very nice to slide on and off the blade. The Khun Rikon sheaths looks cool, feel cool, are cleverly design with a simple no-effort self securing mechanism, and are just all-round better in every way. The look of both brand is very distinct and perhaps it's a matter of opinion, but although these look nice, I think they don't look nearly as nice as the Khun Rikon knives. But the bright colours aren't just about aesthetics. The vibrant shades on the Khun Rikon knives (and to some extent these) make then easy to find in the kitchen draw or at the bottom of the picnic hamper we spoke of earlier. Ultimately though, when you're buying a knife, you judge it by its blade. And while there is nothing wrong with the blades on the Zyliss, again the Khun Rikon knives beat them hands-down. They look better, are sharper and are covered in a protective coating. I've noticed small patches of rust on the Zyliss blades if I leave them out without drying them up after washing, but that couldn't ever happen to a Khun Rikon blade. To sum up, there's nothing wrong with these knives. In fact, I think they're probably pretty good knives and better than most. Its just that they copy Khun Rikon's designs and ideas and Khun Rikon's knives are blinking amazing. They are also available in a range of colours and blades.

I real like these knives, with the serrated blade they are are really sharp and they make cutting anything from veggies to meat a breeze.

I love this little knife. It has a good edge on it and cut tomtoes smoothly for me. It's also this fun orange color. A great knife for the price.

I bought two of these and liked them so much that I bought another pair. They are well-made, super comfortable grip, great weight to them, love good and yes, extremely sharp. They make cutting food effortless.
