I have severely dry cracked feet from living in my Keen sandals, and I hate how my feet catch the sheets. So I I've used Urea lotions and they leave an icky "after-feel" to them.... where you don't want to touch anything, so I only used on feet. I love this one! It has a slight scent, which goes away within a few minutes if you are not a fan, but its pleasant enough. But hydrates dry skin extremely well and gently exfoliates without any discomfort. Hands are not greasy after use so I can tough things, go to bed and not worry about the scent or the after texture. The gel absorbs right into your skin and hydrates. I love using it on my feet after I use an "Amope" or after my new "Spa-Rific Laser Etched Hardened Glass Mani-Pedi" File (which works way better than Amope). But this is the perfect compliment to getting and keeping, soft, hydrated, smooth feet AND hands! My husband works outside at a golf course, and weather is brutal. He hates the lotion too, but LOVES ELLOCY 42% UREA FOOT GEL on his really rough hands. They are getting softer, finally! Yay, thank you Ellocy!

it works really well if you use it consistently

Needed to debride an ugly tough toe nail. Put this on before bed. Cut a digit off a Clear Vinyl Industrial Glove, 3 Mil, Size X-Large, put that over the toe. By morning it was soft and easy to clip off.

This is so lovely! From the packaging to application and scent, all round a lovely product. I've found that when it comes to good foot creams, it's rarely a luxurious experience - they're usually stiff and smell like granny (which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but not exactly a lux metaphor in my case) - this one is so nice, the texture is an almost-runny gel, which i don't mind because it absorbs super quickly (unlike most foot creams which i'd literally have to put a plastic bag on to go to sleep so that it doesn't mark the sheets). This one you just apply and go, smells herbal, the results are great, very moisturizing and exfoliating, great ingredient list, too. Go for it!

I find this gel sticky. It takes some time to absorb fully so I have to be careful to use only a very thin layer of it. So I am still on the hunt for my "holy grail" urea product. I will say though that I appreciated that this came in a squeezable tube format (a lot of the other high percentage urea products here on Amazon seem to be sold only in tubs). The tub format is unhygienic for many reasons (increased exposure to air and bacteria).

Where have you been all my life? Wow. I put the gel on, followed by the cream, wore cotton gloves over night. My skin on my hands are soft, winter cracks are softer and I'm in my glory. Thank you .. thank you

Great moisturizer. I used it in my surgical scar from a hip replacement. Very helpful for the healing process. Now I use it on my feet and they are quite happy about it too!!

The Ellocy urea gel may work for some people, but I did not get the results that I expected with a product with 42% urea. The first clue should have been the smell of the product. It actually smells pleasant, with an earthy leaf odor. If you have ever smelled urea, it is actually not a pleasant smell at all, more of an industrial smell you’d expect in a janitors closet. It is the urea that helps with callous skin and thick nails because it helps soften and dissolve. This product was in use for 3 days around the clock, morning and night, and the results were as if I used nothing. I have used another product with 40% urea in the past and in 3 days time there was an obvious result. Your usage may vary, but not a product I’d spend money on again.

Good, but does no magic, thought it would be more powerful. Love the gel texture btw. Has long term effect after daily usage along with other procedures

I’ve only used this twice this far and it definitely seems like it does the job thus far! I use this at night only, before I go to bed. I squeeze a decent amount on my hands with some cuticle oil, then I mix the gel and oil together in my hands and massage it into my skin. Then I put on a pair of cotton gloves and go to bed. As you can see from my photos, my fingers and hands are starting to peel (which I think is a good thing). Seems like it’s exfoliating away all the hard skin! It’s like a chemical peel on my hands. :)
