MEB1216K Electric Lawn Mower 16-Inch 12AMP

Working fine for me. Easy to use. No battery. Lightweight. No gas. Has enough power to cut tall weeds and grass. I’m almost 72 in good health, fit, I can lift a 50 pound cement bag, that kinda stuff. I didn’t want to smell gas fumes. Yes it will take me longer using an electric mower but I also wanted the grass clippings picked up. More of a manicure lawn look. Sometimes I clip the weeds with my long handle shears then use the mower. I know it’s a long arduous process! But at retired 72 all I got is time and burning calories too. I take the clippings over to my next door neighbors goats sheep and chickens and ducks. They love the fresh cut grass and weeds. I’m cutting the Cal Fire required 100 feet clearance around my house, goats pen and dog house. We have 29 acres and lost everything but one house in the June 2024 Apache Wildfire. Barring some other catastrophic event we will be in good shape if another wildfire happens.

I don't write many reviews. I have to be either really disappointed or really love something. This mower rocks! Yes, it is small with plastic wheels, but it's mighty. It goes through the grass like butter. I have a zero turn as I have a few acres, but it was broken, and I was waiting on a part. I bought this to hold me over so I could at least mow the backyard for the dogs. I didn't want to spend the money on a gas mower or a battery mower. Besides, I don't have any faith in the battery mowers to do what I needed, certainly not on a single charge. This is lightweight, no problem pushing, and now I use it in place of a weed whacker. Zero turns are great for going around trees, not so much in corners. No more having to drag the weed whacker out to make several passes to cut down the fenced corners and around my garden area where the zero turn can't fit. (52" deck) Honestly, I wish I had bought this sooner. I would much rather push this around than swing a weed whacker back and forth. This mower is significantly faster and produces a more consistent cut than weed whacking where the zero turn doesn't fit.

This little electric mower does the job very well. The cut grass seems quite uniform in size, making it an easy slide to empty the bag. Yes, it (does) use a cord. But, once you do your lawn the first time, you'll see that it's not difficult to use. I like it a lot.

Works well..quieter than I thought it would be. Light weight but sturdy. Just wush the collection bag was bigger, fills up pretty fast.

It's been less than a year and the lawn mower won't start. I cleaned the interior and removed dirt that got inside. I tried again and it didn't start. I tried it again the next day and it won't start. I had trouble from the beginning, but if I waited a day, it would start, but not this time. I wouldn't recommend this item...it sucks...

I am 66yr old female. Light weight, can manage turns with one hand. Good clean cuts, easy to put together , easy to clean, Now I never ever have to have my husband start gas mower again! *he hates mowing lawns 😁

For this review I am comparing this mower to a comparable 16" wide Greenworks 10 amp mower I have had for three years that is just now wearing down. Lawnmaster Pros for the Lawnmaster- easily pushed, built well, considerable less cost than the Greenworks comparable mower, easily assembled and quality of materials was average Cons for the Lawnmaster- doesn't cut evenly, the grass basket for this mower is almost half the size of their competitor, the height adjustment goes from being too short to Too high for Fescue lawns. Greeworks 10 amp 16" mower Pros for the Greenworks- easily pushed, built well, more expensive than the LawnMaster mower and easily assembled. Quality of materials was excellent,cuts evenly every time, the grass basket for this mower is almost twice the size of the Lawnmaster the height adjustments are perfect for Fescue lawns and I have mowed over 2,000 square feet of lawn for over three years (before the start cable broke from the handle). This lawnmower is amazing. Cons for the Greenworks- wished that is lasted longer.... but I definitely got my moneys worth. Summary of review - This Lawnmaster mower functions as needed and I expect to get a couple of years of service out of it. If you can pay a bit more... Greenworks makes a 10amp, 16" mower that will exceed your expectations.

Works great for our backyard. Just need a long extension cable but much easier than using a battery operated lawnmower

Not powerful enough to get the job done. Poor connections and quality, looks more like a toy than a lawn mower. Not happy with this purchase. Overpriced for the quality.

Best Buy ever light weight easy to change length of cut

I had a larger model of the same brand that did me for years, and would have kept going if I hadn't run over a chunk of hidden metal. I decided to go a bit smaller so although it means more stops to dump, it's well worth the trade off, sez the arthritic back and arms. Edited **I had previously written "I find the grass doesn't get pushed to the back of the bag as much as I'd like, and this is mowing on a flat surface." I used it again recently, and the mower did indeed push the grass back into the bag, filling it completly, repeatedly. Very pleased with this lawn mower!
