This is a nice quality item, well made, attractive, and practical. Holds exactly i stick of butter, easily packed into lid, in any number of ways. I sliced the butter in four equal parts, while in the paper, then it’s easily transferred into lid, mashed down with a spoon. I’ve purchased a 2nd one for herbal butters, or Ghee butter. Use approx. 1/4 in. water in the bottom of jar, to maintain freshness. Highly recommend.

I love this butter crock so much!! It really works! No more hard butter tearing up my bread! It's really little, but just the perfect size for a whole stick of butter in the bell. It was well packed and in a nice box, so it would make a nice gift. I got the royal blue. It's beautiful ceramic and comes with a cute little knife that's perfect for spreading the soft butter. It's a nice addition to my kitchen countertops.

I am new to this homemade butter thing, and I will stop buying my expensive butter. All the colors they offer are too cute and they come with the butter knife. The design is as it should be for continues freshness of your homemade butter. The weight of the crock top, creates a nice air tight seal. Best quality overall for this item. Dishwasher safe for easy cleaning. Heavy enough to stay put on the counter. Definitely recommend if you are into making butter. I choose the sky blue and love it.

Exactly what I was looking for in a Butter Crock..large enough for one stick of butter. Clean looking crock and nice little butter knife. Glad I bought this, it’s just as nice as some of the more expensive ones I was looking at in the stores.

Beautiful crack, great price, great value, fast ship! Keeps my butter, fresh and the red color looks great on my kitchen counter with all my other Christmas decorations! Will definitely be buying another one in another color! The fact that it has a matching little butter knife, which we use constantly! Highly recommend!

I’ve had my butter crock in use for about a week now and absolutely love it. To have spreadable butter on my counter for easy use is a game changer. Easy to use and looks great on my counter. While holding a generous amount of butter at a time yet not too much I find it perfect.

Ein sehr schönes Buttertöpfchen. Es passt gut eine halbe Butterpackung hinein (ca. 125g). Ich bin froh, sie gefunden zu haben. So habe ich immer streichfähige Butter zur Hand. Nur im Sommer hat es nicht so gut funktioniert, da flutschte die weiche Butter durchs Eigengewicht immer in das Wasser hinein. Aber dafür ist das Töpfchen wahrscheinlich auch nicht gemacht, daher kein Sternabzug von mir. Der Griff oben hat eine gute Größe um es gut zu fassen.

For all the Naysayers (and there are very few), do not pay attention to any of them. They are all WRONG! In fact they have no idea of what they are talking about. Of course, the butter will not be as soft as if kept on the counter, but counter kept butter goes bad quickly and is unsanitary. This butter dish will keep your butter fresh indefinitely as long as you keep water level to the water line as indicated. I change the water with cold, filtered water at least once a week. The butter is kept fresh, soft-firm and easily spreadable. It does not get any better! So, to the few Naysayers who tried it and gave it less than 4 stars, go back to hard butter or keep it on the counter, let it spoil and Cry us a River! BTW, only clarified butter can be kept at room temperature safely for an extended period of time.
