Exactly what I wanted for making my butter chicken type dish. Delicious with just the right amount of heat. And comes in a resealable bag which is great!

I bought this so I could try an America's Test Kitchen recipe for "Goan Pork Vindaloo" that I saw on their TV show. They emphasised that it was really mild and the recipe calls for 3 TABLESPOONS of Kashmiri Chilli Powder. When I made the dish, following the recipe to the letter, it was HOTTER THAN HELL. Lovely flavors, but my wife was unable to eat it and, as for me, it certainly cleaned out the sluices at both ends! I would recommend cutting the quantity of the powder to maybe 1/3 of the recommended amount (which I will do next time) or trying a different brand of powder.

Essential item for Chicken Tikki Masala!

I love this chili powder for leveling up my Indian and Thai dishes. The spice is fresh but not too spicy with an awesome cinnamon and chili taste and a vibrant color. I only wish it came in a container but that does hold the cost down.
