Should be Named Minwax Miracle Reviver!!!!
I had a 100 year old historic neighborhood home I was listing for sale, and it had original oak hardwood floors that had not been refinished in over 20 years. They were in good physical shape, but VERY dry and dull. I did not want to incur the high cost of professional floor refinishing, so decided to give this stuff a try. IT WORKED MIRACLES! It was easy to apply (I used a Walmart sponge mop with a new sponge head) and the floors were transformed into a thing of beauty! My realtor was amazed at the difference (I wish I had taken before and after photos to show) and everyone who looked at the house commented on the beautiful warm oak floors. I am very happy to report that my house sold in ONE DAY, and I really believe this product was a major factor in the quick sale. I am sure this product will not be a LONG term solution, but for a short term 'fix' it is fantastic. After applying, the floors had a wonderful low gloss sheen that looked like hand waxed surface. My floors had lots of small scratches, and while it didn't totally hide them, they were much less noticable. I specifically wanted the LOW GLOSS formula, and could only find the high gloss version at my local Lowes and Home Depot, so ordered 4 bottles from Amazon. It arrived quickly and safely. I ordered 4 bottles, because I wanted to be sure I had enough and thought since my floors were so old and dry that it would really 'soak' up the product. I only needed two bottles for a 1600 square foot home that had wood floors throughout except for the kitchen, bathrooms and utility room. It seemed to go a long way, but I was careful to apply a THIN coat like the instructions said. I will be returning the other two bottles to Amazon. Overall, I give this product 5 plus stars, and highly recommend it!!!

Love that Minwax
My hardwood floors had taken a beating after 12 years what with kids, pets, and just general traffic. Hardwood in the Kitchen wasn't my best idea but I wanted them so I gott'em. Spills, dried on food, pets and kids.....you know the drill. I thought I was going to have to pay to get them refinished. Instead I thought I'd give Minwax a try and boy, I'm glad I did. I used their cleaning product first to remove all the dirt and grime. Minwax cleaning product worked wonders!! Finally when I felt the floors were good and clean I got to the fun part...Mixwax Reviver! Simple to apply, dries quickly and WALLA --- (almost) NEW FLOORS! The floors look terrific! AND the best part? They've held up quite well. Its so nice to walk across a clean floor again, and did I mention the shine??? I purchased the low gloss because I didn't want the high shine and I'm glad I did. I can't imagine what high gloss would look like since the floors look like they have a high gloss. I would recommend this product to anyone wanting a "new" looking hardwood floor. I'm sure at some point I'll have to bite the bullet and get the floors professionally done, but Mixwax saved me for awhile anyway. Its been three months and they're still looking good!

Old Scuffed Floors look new again!
I have original hardwood floor in my 100+ year old house. When I first bought the house, they were in good condition and I should have had hem refinished before I moved in. But with dogs, a job etc, I just never did it and now he potential mess involved plus finding a place for the dogs while the floors are redone, keeps me from actually doing what needs to be done. That being said, I am very picky and clean in my home habits and while the floors always looked good, they just didn't have the pop that I like to see in hardwood floors. I have tried other floor revivers(Holloway House)and he results were good for about 2 days (3 dogs--2 very large). I had all but given up and resigned myself to having to finally get the floors done professionally, until I found this product. I did a thorough cleaning with the MinWax hardwood floor cleaner (the best wood floor claner I have found-http://www.amazon.com/Minwax-62127-32-Ounce-Hardwood-Cleaner/dp/B000VZP61C/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1358103699&sr=8-1&keywords=minwax+floor+cleaner), vacuumed really good and then went over it once again to be sure no stray dog hairs or dust were around. Put this stuff down and Wow!!! You would never know that my floors have never been done professionally. I found that the first coat took about 20-30 minutes to lightly walk on it so I did another coat. Same time frame. The results have lasted about 3-4 weeks so far. Just redid them with only one coat as the high traffic area was starting to look dull. Old Floors (real hardwood)? Then you will love this stuff. It also seems to protect the floor from getting scratched by dog claws..which is def a big plus for me. This is not a scrach filler but your floors will look amazing. Glad I found this product.

Really easy to use but it is sad that people said it does not last
Previously, when we have apartment turnover, the hardwood floor always was the biggest concern when we used the oil base paint. We have to sand down the old paint, clean the dust, then apply the new paint. it take a day to be able to walk on it. Then fume lingers for two weeks and it makes people dizzy. We cannot open window when it is winter... With this Minwax Reviver floor paint, the job is 90 % more easy, we just clean the floor, touch up the bad spots, let dry, and paint an all over coat. The result look great. little bit of odor when applied, but we open the window at night and no fume at all the next morning. We feel like this is a life saver for our floor. We just did the floor with Riviver. some reviews said it does not last long, this is said, but may be still worth it.

Great product. Hard to find.
I wish I would’ve taken a before picture so you could see the difference, but it’s exacrl what I needed for our house. The realtor suggested buffing the floor, but we didn’t want even a fine dust kicked up doing that. Then we saw a YouTube video demoing this product and thought we’d give it a try. GET THE LOW GLOSS! I can’t imagine what the high gloss looks like, but this gives you a lovely shine to the floors. I bought three more bottles to do the full house with along with the applicator pads (they do make a difference!). I would highly recommend this product. Things to note: - I applied this at night since it needs to sit untouched for a couple of hours before walking on it. - We have pets, so we fenced off the sections of the house and also ran our HEPA filter to help minimize the smell. It was gone by morning. - Make sure you have good lighting to see where you’ve applied it. I didn’t and missed a couple of small patches. Total user error. - I tried to find the LOW gloss at local hardware shops and only found the high gloss. Amazon was the best place to find it with fast shipping.

Beautiful outcome
Great finish, dries to walk on within 24 hrs. Think it said shorter time on bottle, but I left and gave it 24 hrs. These floors were in pretty rough condition in a 1920s house we flipped. We just swept and cleaned very good prior to application and they turned out absolutely beautiful. I applied with a microfiber cloth and a swiffer sweeper handle. Anxious to use on current house we're working on.
