How does this compare to the Kbac-27d?

The KBAC-27D is a 1Ph to 3Ph AC drive. The KBPC-240D is a 1PH AC input and converts to DC output, so completely different drives and application uses.

Will this unit require a horsepower reducer for use with Theraplate (Equine)?

I’m assuming you mean horsepower resistor, if so then It depends on the motor current (amp draw) If over 2.5amps then no, if under then yes with some slight modification inside the drive. This unit controls a 1/50-1hp motor at 115v or 1/25-2hp at 230v. Call me Monday if you have anymore questions and we can figure out what you need. I’ve wired a couple of these equine vib plates before and thought we used a different controller. I’d look that up but I’m out of the office. 636-537-0202 ask for David.

How do i order the forward-brake-reverse switch (p/n 9339), run-stop-jog switch (p/n 9340) and on/off ac line switch (p/n 9341) options with this?

Will this work with a 130vdc 2.25hp motor?

Unfortunately it will not. It is only rated for 90VDC and 180VDC motors. We do not offer a drive for 0-130VDC at that HP. Thanks.

Simply the best, possibly only drive controller to consider when you require a quality proven item

Simply put I am a cheap ba$t@rd when shopping. I'm a dyi fanatic, I prefer dumpster diving to paying, combing stores or web sites for bargains. I consider paying top dollar for items a failure. At least most of the time. After playing with options, working with second hand controllers or inferior units for 2 years with only unsatisfactory results I realized that I'm fairly stupid.... yeah it hurt. Look, If you need a reliable flexible DC controller then these are the ones to consider first, I bought this specific model because my project requires a fair amount of splashing and spraying water so waterproofing was a prime factor. 6 months later I'm even more sure of this purchase and say you will not regret buying them. Mine is driving a 1.5 hp good quality DC motor pulled from a trashed (insert FREE here) treadmill so I can still have some diy self respect...... Peace! Scott P.
