Amazing light, you will not be disappointed
I have tried many rechargeable lanterns before buying this one. All the others were not worth their claim for higher than 1000 lumens for a higher a price. I tried a 2500 lumen, 1800 lumen and a 1500 lumen lantern, all that cost way more than this and returned them all. I didn't expect much out of this lantern when I saw the size of it, but holy crap this thing is bright. The first setting I was like good lord that's bright. The second setting was a yellow light, I guess it's softer for your eyes, but the third setting is both lights and I swear it, but don't look at the lens. It's super bright. There is a strobe light that is for emergencies but either the first or third setting will be my go to. Pros: 1. Super bright and way cheaper than other lanterns that claim to have higher lumens. 2. Really light weight and small size. 3. Handle on the top and bottom makes it easier to hang on different objects. 4. Feels well built Cons: 1. It charges using a Micro USB cable. I really wished it used a type C instead. 2. Charging seems to take a long time. 3. No battery indicator. I really wish there was a way to tell how much battery is remaining. 4. Battery life is shorter than other lanterns I tried, but I was using this lantern at max brightness. Adjust the dimmer on the light settings and you will have plenty of battery left for a weekend camping trip. Conclusion: If you want a amazing camping lantern that is more than plenty bright, I highly recommend this. It's small size, long lasting battery if you dim the light down will be plenty for your camping trips. You are able to use it as a battery pack to charge your other devices, but let's face it, you go camping to get away. In a emergency that is a option at the cost of lowering the amount of time you have in a light.

Great light and a vast improvement over the old kerosene camp light!
Directions are great, the light functions and very bright and you can chose brightness levels and you can remove the cover and will find a hanger clip on the bottom of the light so you can hang this upside down for a very bright lighting area. Will work outside on a camping table as well as inside the camper. We have not used it camping yet as it is winter and snow in Montana. We run on mostly solar for the RV so look forward to having this rechargeable and power bank that can be used to charge our cell phone if need be. Our camper is wired to charge many items and this lantern is one we can plug into our camper or our spare battery we use to charge up many items. This spring this will get the full workout. Right now it is in the house to have something for light if we loose power. Nice compact size as well and heavy construction.

Shine bright like a diamond..
The is camping light was so worth it! Yes it’s small, but boy does it light up a room! I also love that there are options on the lighting that you can choose from. Also, you can charge it up… I absolutely hate using batteries, so that right there is worth the money spent on this. The quality is great and it’s still holding up!

Nice little lantern but…
Lepro | LE LED Camping Lantern model 3300008. 1000lm 10W So, I bought this to use inside a cabin and at the campfire. As shown in the pic, it’s pretty small compared to gas lanterns but it works ok for me in those cases. It’s fairly bright and does last a good few hours. Interestingly, it seems to take a long time to fully charge even after using it a shot time. I can use it for my needs but also bought the “D” size battery version as well for backup.

Highly recommend! So bright and so many uses!
These are awesome for when the power goes out! High, low and SOS settings. And when I say bright-they are extremely bright! They have a handle, so you can carry them where you need light. Charging is simple and you can even charge your cell phone with them (read instructions). They are not big for what they have to offer! We've had them for awhile and still can't believe how bright they are for as small as they are! Easy to charge, very lightweight, high quality for the money. I have dropped one and they are very durable! These have so many uses, from power outages to camping to finding something under the bed or in a closet, just to name a few!

Nice Lantern
Very nice lantern. Use it for camping, emergencies and lighting darker areas like under a cabinet when working under a sink. I like how it has different colors, very bright and softer bright, plus a dimmer. Light up a larger area to a picnic table and not be blinded. Small in size for tight places but plenty of light for larger areas. The batteries will last all night and then some on a single charge. The only con is having to charge it every 3 months, BUT with the newer type of batteries this is going to be a must with all of them. Batteries do not recharge properly when fully discharged. Plus what good is it in an emergency when the battery is dead. Set a reminder in your phone to charge it every 3 months and plug it in and go to bed. It's not THAT hard to do.

Lightweight, durable, bright and rechargeable.
These are light, small and mighty. I like them so much I bought some to give as gifts. Glad I had them during a long power outage due to a hurricane. Bright, rechargeable. Had these for quite some time with no wear and tear. Use them at home, garage and barn.

A Fine Light at a Great Price
I previously had bought two of the Rayovac SE3DL 240 lumen lanterns and was quite pleased with them. In putting together a new "go bag" I came across the LE 500 lumen light and purchased it. It is a very fine light. It uses the newer COB technology and has a long life on one set of 3 D sized batteries. In choosing a light, remember, there are trade-offs. A brighter light (even COB) will NOT last as long and you probably don't need more lumens than what this light provides. If you need more light, buy two and spread the illumination around more. While it uses the identical battery system as the Rayovac, I had a little more trouble getting the batteries loaded. Practice a couple times without batteries first to check the alignment of the arrows inside. While the 500 lumens is impressive, I think that running it at the "half-power" will be adequate for many situations as well as extending battery life. Consider if you buy a 1000 lumen light -- half power is still 500 lumens (a LOT) and draining battery life. Half power of 500 lumens is 250 lumens and will last much longer. In any case, this will be a fine light to take with me. This is a very compact lantern (like the Rayovac) and produces a lot of light. This review is based on my purchased lantern.... NOT gifted or heavily discounted to me.
