Absolutely the best.
After months of research, we bought this rolling walker for my 94-year-old mother-in-law. It was absolutely the right choice. The walker is extremely well made and well engineered. It is very easy to put together, easy to adjust, and very sturdy. It also has large, substantial wheels, making it easy to maneuver and it stays very stable on a variety of surfaces. The brakes work well, provide good feedback, and feel solid in your hands. My mother-in-law was concerned that she had become too unsteady using only her cane, and she had stopped taking her morning walks outside altogether. The Carex roller walker has made all the difference - she absolutely loves it, and she's now bragging about making it "clear around the building" on her daily walks. She likes being able to take a break, sit on the seat, and enjoy the weather, and the under-seat storage is great for taking a scarf, a pair of gloves, and a bottle of water. This walker has made all the difference in her life. Because she's resumed her daily walks, she's actually gotten a bit stronger and is more comfotable just using her cane for other activities.

Sturdy and lighty
Following a 6 month hospital stay I r needed assistance. This walker is very well made but not too heavy. The basket is super useful and you can buy all sorts of attachments such as a phone/cup holder. Convenient seat is great when you a need a bit of a rest. I highly recommend this walker!

A great walking aid
I am 6‘2“ tall, so it was very hard for me to find a walker that I would fit. This one fits me wonderfully. It was easy to assemble. It is very sturdy and well-built. For me it’s like an American Express card I never leave home without it.

Product good, packaging substandard, instructions terrible
I bought this product for a family member who has problems with balance. It serves them well. However, the "out of box" experience with this product was very poor.First, the item was delivered in its store carton, no shipping box and unsealed. The contents of the box could have been lost or pilfered because only cardboard flap locks secured the carton, no tape, no nothin'. The next sinking feeling comes while unpacking the contents of the carton and matching the parts to the drawings in the instruction pamphlet - hardware does not match. Then, you notice the disclaimer at the bottom of the sheet "Actual Items Might Vary Slightly", no, they vary significantly, nylon clasps replace bolts and wing nuts. I did receive all the pieces necessary, but you couldn't prove it by the instruction pamphlet. The assembly instructions are a series of pictures with minimal text. Many of the pictures are too small and too tight of shots to be of good use. Photos show assembly of brake cables, even though they came pre-assembled.The next issue takes the cake, however. The chassis and the front wheel assemblies are marked L and R even though the front wheel assemblies are identical. On the other hand, the back wheel assemblies are not marked and are mirror images of each other due to their hand grips - these are the ones that should be marked. Further, they are keyed, but fit two ways, 180 degrees apart, so it is possible to install them wrong, both L and R as well as placing the brake cables toward the front or the back. Photos in the instructions shed no light on these ambiguities. Finally, after trial and error, I found the correct side and direction to install the rear wheels. It's not clear if somebody at the factory is playing a joke with this or if they're just that dumb. It's a nice rollator for a reasonable price, but if you have no patience or mechanical aptitude to assemble the unit without the benefit of decent instructions, consider a different one.

convenience of use
WOW WOW WOW--what more can be said of this walker, we have been using the standard aluminum walker with the back being dragged on the ground by hard plastic, noting compared to this new one of your the CAREX, as a matter of fact, we saw it at a department store parking lot, an elderly lady and her daughter had one. They were getting out of their car and the daughter pulled this one out and my wife asked her to try it out and she did and fell in love with it immediately. I mean, what a stroke of. Found it on line and---BINGO---in three days we have it. Not bad putting it together, but lucky I am some what agile and no problem . Thank you again for such a well made product.

A dangerous dud
This walker, which I bought in October 2015, is greatly reduced in quality from same models (2) I bought over 3 years. The vinyl basket is smaller. It does not have the side pockets that were so useful in holding purse and keys separate from larger carrying area. Worst of all the snaps are hold the basket to the unit are so flimsy that they keep opening when items are placed in basket. But the most serious flaw is the front wheel assembly. The left wheel begins to wobble after the walker is run a mile or so and it loosens up and threatens to fall off. My skilled son in law has tightened the wheel dozens of times in the months I have used it---and it keeps loosening up threatening to strand me since I cannot walk without this aid.The wheels (including on the first walker) wear out quickly as I walk on city sidewalks and rough rural roads near my weekend home. There is no way to replace them---which is why I have bought a second and third walker.I am scrapping this walker since it is too troublesome and expensive to package and return to the manufacturer. And I buying another brand. I would pay twice the price for this walker if it came with sturdy, replaceable wheels and was the same quality as the first one I purchased 3 years ago. What a waste created by a manufacturer intent on cutting costs by drastically reducing quality on a product used by disabled people!!!
