I recently purchased a blender with what I thought was a high-quality blade, but unfortunately, I was sorely disappointed with my purchase. The blade started leaking machine oil after just a few uses, which not only made a mess but also posed a potential health hazard.The oil leaking from the blade was a clear indication of poor craftsmanship and low-quality materials. Not only did it make my smoothies taste awful, but it also made me concerned about the potential harm it could cause to my health.Cleaning the blade was also a nightmare, as the oil would constantly seep out of it, no matter how thoroughly I wiped it down. Additionally, the leaking oil made it impossible for me to use the blender for other food preparation tasks, as I didn't want to risk contaminating my food with the oil.Overall, I would not recommend this blender blade to anyone. It is clear that the manufacturer prioritizes cost-cutting over quality, and as a result, their products are subpar and potentially dangerous. Save yourself the hassle and invest in a higher-quality blade that is built to last and won't pose any health risks.

My original smoothie blades started leaking and smoking. I thought it was over and time to replace my ninja system I bought 4 years prior on Amazon. Glad I read about the fins and ordered this part for my ninja for Amazon. Counted the find on the outside of my cap and measured the diameter. It has stopped the leak and smoking. I read the bearing may have been damaged and leaking rust or the metal rubbing I to my drink. Gross! But no more issues with the new lid. Love it came with an extra seal since they get hard to clean later. I haven’t used the cleaning brush provided seems a little flimsy but have not tried it yet.

The media could not be loaded. The original blade that came with my Ninja blender broke so I had to find a replacement. I purchased this after market part from Amazon and here are my thoughts on it1. First, the design is almost identical to the original part, there are some minor differences in the blade design, but they are so minor that I don't think it will make a difference in the way it blends the foods.2. Weight. The blade part weight is pretty much the same as the original part.3. Durability - I haven't had it for long but the part seems to durable and I would expect it to last a while. It's nice that it comes with the extra gasket in case it needs to be replaced.Note: I'm giving it 4 stars because the blades are not pre-assembled out of the box, so you have to screw in the blade and it took me a while to realize that you have to screw it in the opposite direction for the screw to go in. Also my wife assumed that the extra gasket had to be used as well and she tried to install it, which caused some issues and again it took me a while to realize that the part already came with a pre-installed gasket, so perhaps some instructions would have helped.

I've purchased this same product 3 times from the same seller but....the 1st one (6/16/22) lasted ~21 months at which point it developed cracks and began to leak out the bottom. So, 21 months, not bad. So on 3/18/24 I ordered a new one in light of the promise of an improved version which solves the cracking problem. Well, it only lasted ~4 months before the bearing began to seize up.There are only two reasons why I ordered a 3rd one from this same seller on 7/17/24. First, I couldn't find a better alternative. Reading reviews on others, they all seem to have similar problems of cracking and leaking. The 2nd reason... only 4 months ? Surely it should have lasted or be warranted for a year and I can get a new one under warranty. Well trying to figure out how to do this on Amazon for me has proven very difficult and time consuming. Amazon points to the seller and pursuing that, proved so elusive, I gave up and just ordered the new one for $13.98.I'm hoping the seller will see this and reach out to me with a replacement that I can keep on hand when my current (3rd unit) where's out AND...I don't expect it to last forever ! Also, I'd be willing to pay slightly more for a next generation design with an improved bearing. I wouldn't think this would require the manufacturer to retool their assembly line, just source a better bearing to push the life cycle comfortably past a year for the typical user who uses their blender 4 to 5 times a week.Peace !

My original blades still work but the silicone ring turned black after 2 years of sloppy family members not washing it frequently. There are no good replacement rings on Amazon. All of them have terrible fit.The only place to buy OEM blade replacements is the Shark Ninja store, and I am not about to pay $46 when the entire set only cost $120. The negative reviews for this blade replacement worried me but I figured since 75% of customers got a good fit, I'd take a chance.It is a perfect fit. After 4 weeks and 15 blends, it still works great. Though, the blade is already as dull as the 2 year old original blades.The set includes a spare silicone ring which resurrected my old blade assembly. Now I have two working blades.
