1979 Chrysler Lebaron Town & Country Wagon, Red with Woodie Siding Motormax 73331-1/24 Scale Diecast Model Car

This was a gift for a friend of mine, his family had this exact car growing up. The detail is amazing! It is put together well and truly reflects the prototype. Made his day!

The car looks great. Doors and hood open. Good paint. The “wood” looks dull. Maybe to make it realistic. But I remember it being more shiny since it was fake anyway. I’ll probably wax it. The shipper value diecast sent it in a paper bag. The display box was completely destroyed. It’s pure luck the car was in one piece. I keep some cars in the box for collectibles but luckily I hadn’t planned to keep this in the box. It will be a risk if you order it and it’s shipped in a bag instead of a box. My cars from Amazon came in boxes. I paid for shipping with Value Diecast and got garbage. 5 stars for the car. 1 for Value Diecast.

I don't think I've ever even seen this car in real life. Old Chryslers don't seem to last as long as some of the other brands out there. That being said, I thought it was funny to see that this was even made. I put this on a shelf next to a bunch of very high tech stuff to serve as a contrasting statement piece and I love it. It's pretty high quality. The front bumper fell off, but I was able to reattach. Overall, I would buy from this seller and brand again!

I bought this for my son for Christmas because he's obsessed with national lampoon's Christmas vacation. He loves to re-inact movies with toys. He attached one of my Christmas tree decorations from my Christmas village for the tree part of the beginning of the movie. LoL

While the driver side door hangs slightly ajar, the rest of the model is in amazing shape! It’ll look good on any shelf.
