Marvel Playskool Heroes Super Hero Adventures Captain America Super Jungle Squad Toy Action Figure

These are really cool figures that have a great feel to them and are a little thicker and more sturdy than the Imaginext characters we pair them with. These have a bit of extra personality in their exaggerated shapes compared to a lot of Imaginext figure that are worthless if the pain on their face wears off. These have a face shape, making them safer to not look scary if the paint comes off with age. These will be among a small batch of my son's toys that I aim to keep in storage if he ever outgrows them. They seem like the sort of toy that will take quite a while to outgrow, considering my son is only three. My only qualm with the Playskool Heros line compared to Imaginext is that the Heros usually come with weapons that do not fully detach unless it's a projectile weapon. This set has zero accessories. The bow and shield remain attached. I can only assume that the lack of accessories was something to keep the age range broad. My son is three and he needs some swords and stuff so he can get them lost in the classic way. These are really cool character to hold though. The feel of them in your hand is gratifying. The Imaginext variety are not sculpted with this level of detail. The packaging has a good feel too, for gifting.

I started collecting Playskool Heroes figures for my son when he was a little over one. I have not found any yet that present a chocking hazard so that's the first plus. Second, even though these are a little cartoon-y they have multiple articulation points for exceptional arm movement and positioning. So I feel like these will last a long time as they will still be fun to play with as my son gets older. The size is great as one fits in his hand at a time and they fit in Fisher-Price Little People products and other toys (so far my son has had our Avengers hang out in the Little People barn and on Daniel Tiger's Trolley). Only precaution: if you're anything like me you may find yourself building the quinjet out of blocks and flying the heroes around while your child stares at you like you've lost it. Buy at your own risk, you will want to play with your child when he takes these out!

These are my toddlers favorite toys right now. They are great quality and durable even through a rough toddler. I LOVE how caps shield can't be removed. FINALLY a captain america we bought that we won't have a lost shield. They are the perfect size for our boy who's turning 3. They fit in his hands well. He plays with them more than the 5in ones or the full size ones (yes we have almost every single one in this brand) were only missing about 3 more to the set which will be buying soon because they are just that great. None have broken. None have given issues -- in any of the sizes. Playskool Heroes are an A+ 5 STAR FROM MY FAMILY.

We first used these to decorate a birthday cake, but afterwards they became much loved toys. Great value for the money.

Pretty good toys, super cute. But one of the arms did come off after a day of play.

These are great. Toys associated with a preset story can (potentially) limit play to a specific character or story, but that is not the case here. This play set and Playskool’s other play sets are designed for kids at the age where they generally recognize the characters and their admirable qualities, so instead of playing out a preset story, they will integrate characters with admirable qualities into their own stories and make-believe worlds. Playskool makes super fun toys that are equally appealing to any gender.

My child loves all the characters and they are usable in all imaginext play sets.

2nd set of these little figurines I have purchased for my son, 2 different sets, they are always a huge hit super heros and little guys are always a big hit. My 4 year old plays with these for hours. I wish they made more sets, because we would love them too. They last years!
