It does the job perfectly. got it for my Q3, no issues at all.

Quite light and possibly a bit flimsy but it's a good firm fit in the camera hot shoe. Makes the camera easier to hold especially if shooting one-handed and doesn't get in the way of the controls. A worthwhile addition.

Arrived on time, the grip is made of metal and where it touches the camera there was a protective strip. It fitted the camera perfectly and made the handling so much easier. Having a better grip helps with holding the camera steady and also protects it from falling as the hold is better.

I was finding it annoying when holding my Ricoh GR3X in one hand that my thumb was pressing the exposure compensation dial. Installing the JJC Thumb Grip cured this immediately. It also makes holding the little Ricoh single handed more secure. It is marginally harder to turn the camera on and off but this is a small price to pay for the benefits. As always JJC camera accessories are well made and fit the camera perfectly.

Bought the gr3 version for my canon eos m3 and it works great on that camera too. With some blu tack under the hot shoe it stays in place reasonably well and provides a good bit of extra grip when shooting in portrait. It does cover the mode dial on the m3 but it wasn't originally designed for that camera and tbh I dont ever use the mode dial, it just stays in manual with auto ISO.

It fits and feels nice on the camera but as someone who uses back button focus its abit useless since i cant click the button to focus and hold the grip. If you use the half shutter for focus this grip does give you another comfortable point to grip the camera by. Using this on a Sony A7R IV it is strong enough to not flex when holding a 100-400 lens while also not adding any extra weight to the camera. Not sure if its the best for the hotshoe since depending on the weight of the lens this could add alot of pressure which the hotshoe was not designed to take Overall it Looks good and it does function well but not sure i would recommend for most people

The most unnecessary accessory for the Ricoh GR III. Positions your thumb above the on/off switch lol. Actually makes the camera more uncomfortable and crowds an already tight user interface. Returned mine straight away.

Great quality and feels better and more secure holding my X-e5 but it is quite difficult to adjust the exposure compensation dial now especially when you're shooting on P mode.

The design has been tweaked. the cut out shape gives access to the exposure/iso dial without interfering with the rear dial. They’ve added a small silicone pad where the thumb grip rests on the camera which doesn’t even show up in the pictures. Nice tweaks. However, even though I found it the most comfortable given how I hood the camera, the thumb grip is so long that it makes more leverage and it constantly slides slightly out of place. I ended up going without any grip because after trying a few, most suffer from this same issue.
