As someone who drinks matcha daily, I’ve tried quite a few brands Ceremonial Grade Matcha is hands-down one of the best I’ve come across. The quality is immediately noticeable: the powder is a vibrant, rich green (a sign of freshness and high chlorophyll content), and it has a fine, silky texture that sifts and whisks easily with no clumping. The flavor is incredibly smooth—mildly sweet, with just the right hint of natural umami and almost no bitterness, making it perfect for traditional whisked matcha or lattes. I also appreciate that it’s USDA Organic and sourced from Uji, Japan—a region known for producing top-quality matcha. It’s a little pricier than culinary-grade options, but the taste and quality are well worth it, especially if you’re using it for drinking rather than baking. Whether you’re new to matcha or a longtime fan looking to upgrade, this is an excellent choice. It delivers on every front: taste, color, freshness, and authenticity.

I Love everything about this stuff. The color, the taste, the smell and feel. There's not a hint of bitterness. Everything's perfect. A huge help when I'm dealing with stomach aches or when I just want to enjoy a Japanese tea ceremony. It's also worth noting that this brand has its products tested for heavy metals and other impurities, so that's a win for anyone looking for high quality.

I am very picky with matcha and tend to drink coffee more because its hard to find ones I like that are affordable— but this was great. Foams great, color is beautiful and tastes amazing.

This matcha is so yummy! The color when first opening it is a beautiful vibrant green. It is so creamy, smooth, and refreshing on its own with a nice nutty/light umami flavor. It doesn’t have any notes of bitterness. I also appreciate that it does not clump up like other matchas I have tried. My favorite way to drink it is with oat milk and two pumps of my homemade vanilla simple syrup. But it is a really great matcha without adding anything to it. This is my new go to matcha!

A little too seaweedy for my taste but it was clearly high quality and I'd rather have something bold than bland. This was my third matcha from Kimikura Tea and they've all been yummy.

This is good matcha for the price and ease of access. They switched to machine grinding their matcha versus stone grinding to keep up with demand. You can tell it's a rougher powder because of that. This is more on the sweet floral side of matcha versus nutty or earthy. Nice bright color but you do need to use more powder for lattes to have more flavor come through. More of a medium bodied matcha versus rich.

Very good quality
