This is a great gift for any occasion. Fun and educational all in one. But parents, make sure you’re present to assist your child. It comes with certain chemicals in packs that can be harmful, which is the only reason i didn’t give 5 stars.

This was a great gift for my 9 year old grandson who thinks he is a sciencetist. He was especially excted about it being a National Geographic kit. The ability to do these experiments is so cute to watch. All of the materials seem to be of great quality and safe. Definetly the right size and fit for his age group.

Got this as gift for 9 rest old granddaughter. I helped her through the first experiment and she has taken over from there. I was afraid she would get frustrated if something didn’t work well-not the case. She has spent hours working through the projects and proudly demonstrating her success.
