Great comb for under coats etc
Why did you pick this product vs others?:i have a English lab which means he has very long thick fur. A friend suggested i purchase this brand comb etc. Very pleased. Works great. I'm now able to get through his fur with ease and get the excess loose stuff out and gone.

Works excellent on my Lab
This brush works great on my English Lab. It does work on my White Swiss Shepherd who has a plush coat, but it is much more geared for a shorter coat, like a Lab. He loves getting brushed with it.

Wow...this brush REALLY works!
I read the other reviews before purchasing this brush, and they weren't kidding...this removes so much fur, I could probably stuff a pillow with it. We have border collie/Great Pyrenees mix dogs, and this rake does an incredible job at removing the undercoat with pretty minimal effort. In a very short brushing session, I can easily get a large handful of hair off of each dog. It is saving my vacuum and floors during this shedding season! The brush itself is well made in one piece, which makes the handle sturdy and comfortable to hold. Our other rake broke because the handle and the head were two pieces that eventually separated. This will not happen with this brush. Very pleased!!!

FINALLY!!
This would be my first time purshasing/using this brush and up to now it does not disappoint. I have a Chow and for the longest time it's been frustrating dealing with all the hair around my home, it's on the couches, the floor, the counters/ cabinets, the stove, the bathroom, the clothes, the fridge, the air, the food and disgustingly even my MOUTH! I got fed up on having to look for reviews on brushes that can work for my dog. Theres no review anywhere on how to de-shed this breed so I just came on amazon and looked for whatever says it works and went with it. My first brush was a bust, it took hair off but it was basically an hours fight for such little results and still having to deal with lots of hair loss afterwards. At the end of the day, I saw a review on this brush being used on a samoyed wich is the breed that comes closer to the chow and also saw another review on a furminator being used on a German Shepard. I almost made the mistake of going with the furminator expecting fast results like it shows on the videos. But the thing was that the furminator brush looked a lot like my old brush and it being thirty some dollars compared to 10 with this rake I took the wise descition on getting this brush and I'm so happy with my descition. It took about 40mins to 1hour to completely brush my 1 year old girl and it took out lots of hair it was incredible! Did as many strokes as I could to really make sure there will be no more hair around the house and I feel like I finally will see that change! It's pretty sturdy and feels good quality for the price and it does do an excellent job. If you have a pet that has lots of fur like mine or even like me are a first time owner of a breed with a second coat I would really recomend this brush or any brush that looks like a rake in general. They are worth it!

One of the best things I've ever bought.
Oh boy, let me tell you about the miraculous fur-demolishing wonder that is the JW Pet Company GripSoft Double Row Undercoat Rake Dog Brush! If you have a furry friend who seems to shed more than your Aunt Mildred's prized Persian cat, then buckle up because this brush is about to change your life!I swear, it's like this brush has a magical magnet for hair. It can suck up loose fur faster than a vacuum cleaner on steroids. I'm not even kidding! I started using it on my pooch, Sir Shed-a-Lot, and it was like an explosion of hair. I'm pretty sure I could have knitted myself a whole sweater with the fur it removed. Now, let's talk about the brush itself. This thing is a beast! It's got not one, but two rows of those magical hair-grabbing teeth. It's like having a small army of hair snatchers in your hands. And the handle? Don't even get me started. It's so comfortable, I swear it's like holding a fluffy cloud that just happens to be really good at brushing. The best part is that it doesn't just remove fur; it does it with finesse. No tugging, no pulling, no yelps of pain from poor Sir Shed-a-Lot. It glides through his coat like a hot knife through butter, leaving behind a trail of silky, shed-free goodness. It's like giving him a spa treatment without the hefty price tag.I've tried my fair share of brushes before stumbling upon this hairy treasure, and let me tell you, this one takes the cake, the pie, and all the snacks in between. It's like the secret weapon of the dog grooming world. So, without a doubt, I highly recommend the JW Pet Company GripSoft Double Row Undercoat Rake Dog Brush to anyone who values their sanity, their carpets, and their lint roller budget. If you're tired of living in a cloud of fur, if you're tired of being mistaken for Bigfoot's long-lost cousin, then this brush is your knight in shining armor. Trust me, you won't regret it. Just make sure to have a trash bag nearby because the amount of hair this thing will remove might just be mind-blowing. Happy grooming, my fellow fur-fighting warriors!Side note: brush against the grain for maximum results.

Great buy!
Wow. I wish someone would have recommended this a long time ago! Alas, it is great to have it now. The dog enjoys it, and there is so much undercoat coming right off. Love this brush! Also, great price. Comfortable handle.

Very nice solution for double-coated dogs
My long-haired German shepherd pup ate my last one of these, so this is a replacement for an old and well-loved grooming tool. She has a fairly silky outer coat and a dense undercoat. It does a terrific job of digging out undercoat with minimal discomfort to the dog. If I use this regularly, you can hardly tell from my house that I have a German shedder, and I don’t exactly stay on top of vacuuming. She doesn’t like grooming much, but she’ll sit still for this tool. Recommended.
