Processed hay?
It didn't seem fresh. While it didn't smell bad, but did seem to be processed in some way.

Only straw, no grass. 95% of the product is straw, which is basically inedible by guinea pigs.

The hay is dry and hard to eat for small scale pets.
The hay is dry and chunky. My guniea pig doesn't even touch it. I tried to cut it in small portions and then feed it to my pet, still no use. He eats alpha hay, but this one is too dry and hard for it.

Our guinea pig loves this hay. It’s almost dust free which I love. It’s nice and coarse so I also use it for enrichment to hide flower petals and treats in.
