Still work to relieve painful feet..!
Having worn my previous pair of Brooks Addiction walkers effectively non-stop since I bought them about 18 months ago, the worn-down soles mean't that they were no longer providing the pain-dissipation effects that I needed them to (in order to counter limp-inducing corns).I was dismayed to see that Brooks had re-worked the Addiction to produce the Addiction 2, and equally unhappy to read many reviews from previous lovers of the shoes who seemed to think that the re-work had been unsuccessful, and that Brooks had effectively produced a shoe that was not the equal of the original.Still, I took the plunge (and have to say that the price of £60 that I paid for a size 11.5 UK is a bargain) and, after a couple of days of being 12 hours on my feet at work, I am more than happy to report that, for me, this new version of the Brooks Addiction walker is as comfortable as the original was. They will, once again, never be off my feet...I bought this pair, as I did my previous pair, half a size larger than I normally take, and they for perfectly.A couple of points :A bonus : the tongue on the new Addictions is slightly longer than it was on the originals which, to my mind, rectifies a slight design flaw. Not so good : whilst I have no complaints with the comfort of the shoes, they have not done us any favours on the style front. Whereas I quite liked the 'oversized' and 'zaggy' look of the original sole, the toned-down look of the Addiction 2 does not look so funky. In fact, if you know what a "Derriboot"™ is, then you may see slight similarities...need I say more..? Wearing in may take away some of their moulded plastic look...I live in hope...A maybe : as others have mentioned in reviews of the new shoes, I wouldn't have the greatest faith in the 'non-slipness' of the non-slip soles. I haven't had reason to test them overly so far, but I'm not convinced I don't think.

Incredibly comfortable.
At 1st i was reluctant to pay that much for shoes over the internet without trying them on.But since i only wear Brooks 7 trainers i said i would give these shoes a try as they are a far superior brand to all.And was i pleasantly surprised. They are so comfortable, supportive and a snug fit with toe room to spare.I spent my 1st day 13 hours in them working in a hardware store. 20k steps and they were so comfortableall day. I have Plantar Fasciitis and they are a great help and brilliant support. I'm delighted with them.Well worth the money. I might even buy a second pair in case there discontinued. :)

Very impressed, amazing shoes.
I absolutely love these shoes!! I've been suffering from plantar fasciitis and flat feet with pronation for about 11 months now and couldn't find good supportive shoes for a while. If you've got ankle or foot problems these shoes are a must have. Extremely comfortable from the first time. I can't comment on the insole because I'm using my orthotics instead. Shoe is quite narrow so beware of that. I'm normally size 7, but had to go for 7.5 and now it fits perfectly. They look really smart and got leather on the top which is perfect for Scottish weather. They are non slip which is an extra bonus. Overall - Very very happy. Will buy another pair. Good investment in your feet health.

The most comfortable shoes I've worn
I have badly pronated feet and these shoes support my arch excellently. I wore Brooks Beast running shoes for walking out of door; these are the first Walker shoes I've tried from Brooks. The only downside is that the price of the shoes appears to have risen lately. I will certainly buy again as I have found it difficult to get footwear to give me the support I need.

Expected more
A lot of people raved about these shoes and the brand so I expected them to be better than they are.

Wrong delivery
Product is good but delivery was disaster. Several times you delivered wrong product. I ordered size 10.5 UK regular/normal width but you delivered size 10.5 UK Narrow/B.
