worked great right out of the box.

Pros: came as advertised, has a nice color to it, it is functional for what I use on it, it is still decently fast, despite being an older model, it didn’t come with any garbage-ware other than Verizon’s apps, it has expandable storage and a SIM card slot, though it is locked to Verizon’s network as advertised Cons: locked to a carrier, less than ideal storage, but as advertised charges slow compared to modern devices, though I would expect this for a tablet from this year, has a few Verizon apps that can’t be uninstalled, just disabled those apps to get around that issue, is a bit flimsy as compared to a device that had a harder shell casing, the tablet came without google play services, now called “Google Play Games,” though you can get this in the included app stores.

The tablet arrived in good working order and surprisingly great quality, and as of the time of this review, I have used it for a few days now. However, I will be leaving a 1-star review because this tablet arrived with a fatal flaw that almost rendered it unusable. As I was going through the setup screen, I discovered the device was managed by a random company, presumably one that it belonged to. This meant that in order to complete the setup and start using the tablet, I would have to sign in with a work email from this company, which I of course, didn't have. Device Management is a very robust security measure, and I was unable to find a way to remove it on my own. The only way one can get it removed is to contact the IT administrator at the company itself, as they are the only ones who can remove it. Thankfully, after a few days, they removed the management, allowing me to use the tablet. As I was looking for solutions online, I saw posts from users who had a similar issue, but had no solution as the company managing their device no longer existed, meaning no IT admin to call. If this were the case for me, I would've been left with an unusable brick. I think it is irresponsible of the seller to ship a device that may or may not be usable, because they were careless enough not to check for device management (not to mention, the existence of the management does raise questions of how this tablet was obtained if it belonged to this company, although I'm not making any accusations). I would hope the seller takes this review to heart and exercises more care in preventing this in the future.
